A fat 10
We had actually booked Profil Mercur, but when we got there and reported to reception, there appeared to be something wrong with the room, no idea what. They had arranged a good solution at a Hotel in the same street with the same conditions and amenities. This was Profil Hotel Richmond. We were also received very friendly here and it all looked fantastic.
The room was very neat, clean shower and toilet., the sink was a bit on the small side, which is also the only thing I can make a comment on. Everything you need for a few nights is there. Although we slept in the front on the street side, the noise was minimal what you heard.
The breakfast buffet was great, lots of choice and very neatly cared for. There is a also a storage room for your luggage, if you are booked out. That's why I got a big 10.

I had a three night stay here in a triple room with my sister and my niece. The room had a twin bed and a sofa bed all of which were spacious and comfortable. The room is south and bathroom were small but very clean and well kept.
The location of the hotel was perfect, we were in the Vesterbro neighbourhood which is within five minutes walking distance of the main central station for the train and Metro. We only needed this to get to the hotel from the airport, apart from this we walked the whole city and got the odd Uber if it was raining or late at night.

The maids should clean the rooms as soon as possible after guests go out for tours etc and not when the guests are returning to rest, only to find an unclean room

Good value in a great location
The Richmond Hotel is in a ideal location, under a 10 minutes walk from the Central Railway Station,5 minute walk from Tivoli and 25 minute stroll to Nyhavn.
Yes this hotel is a little dated but we found the rooms clean, not the biggest, some noise can be heard from outside, if at the front and from the neighbouring rooms but ideal for a four night stay.
All the staff we encountered were helpful and friendly, especially Yurkio, a waitress at breakfast.There was plenty of choice hot and cold at breakfast,could be busy at certain times(no different to anywhere else).
There is no evening meals available and the 'bar' is just a couple of high tables at the end of reception, there are plenty of bars/restaurants around the Tivoli/Radhuspladsen areas.
Personally I found the Richmond to be a ideal base and would without doubt use it, if/when I return to Copenhagen.

Richmond Hotel Copenhagen
We stayed there with my wife and daughter between May 22nd and May 26th. First of all, I'd like to start with the most important thing: the hotel's location. Tivoli is a 6-7 minute walk away, Stroma Street is also 6-7 minutes away, the town hall square is within walking distance, there's a supermarket open until 10 pm just 100 meters away, and you can reach Metro S in 2-3 minutes on foot. The breakfast is satisfying, offering eggs, cheese, butter, and ham. The hotel is clean, exceeding expectations, and the staff, both at reception and in the restaurant, are very friendly and helpful. I chose this hotel at the last minute instead of the Marriott, and I'm so glad I did. If I were to come back, I would definitely stay here again.
