Fantastic stay
Hotel 17 Nyhavn was absolutely fantastic. The location was perfect, the rooms were very clean, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was also excellent, with a great variety and quality. Overall, we had an amazing stay and would definitely recommend it.

Okay but Nyhavn area not for me
71 Nyhavn was a nice hotel but probably not a 5 star. Good location at the end of Nyhavn and walkable to the general area. Room was clean but on the smaller side. Bath was rather roomy considering the room size ( caution: shower floor slippery).
Breakfast was average at best. This is not the hotel’s fault but many guests seemed to be cruise travelers at the beginning or ending of their trip and acted like the buffet was theirs for the taking.
The bar / restaurant staff were very nice and attentive, wish we remembered their names but certainly made us feel welcome.
We had a very early morning flight and were greeted by wet slippery lobby as truckers brought in deliveries. Again just a detail but not 5 star.
Good hotel but frankly if I was returning to CPH would not stay in the Nyhavn section due to much too touristy.

XLNT 1st visit to Copenhagen
Thanks to ChatGPT for the recommendation to stay here. Absolutely perfect experience. Love that it feels so authentically Denmark even in the midst of tourist overload when you walk out the door. My preference is always a more BTQ type of hotel and this was exactly what I hoped for. Everything from the warm welcome Silje gave me when I arrived at 10:00pm, to the goodbye from Mads along with all of the staff I encountered were exceptional. The room was exactly as pictured and the bathroom and shower met my expectations. The one picture I'll share is of the really nice glasses in the bathroom - nice touch! Plus being American, seeing that you can drink the water was a nice surprise!

Recommended for Copenhagen
My stay at 71 Nyhavn Hotel - for vacation - was wonderful. The property is comfortable, perfectfly situated, and the staff is warm, courteous, thoughtful, and polite. The one downside is that the sound between rooms and between floors 'bleeds' so if the neighbor above walks with heavy feet, day or night, it is a nuisance. Other than for this, 71 Nyhavn Hotel is an ideal choice in every way.
