Amazing comfort

After being 4 hours away on a long journeyin38 deg Heat ,arrived at this delightful small cool pension , as two couple staying at this beautifully restored property,everything perfect, would certainly recommend it. We were able to come and go as we pleased, greeted in the morning with an excellent breakfast.
The owners even agreed to allow us to leave our lugage to be picked up later in the day

Nicely located guesthouse

Guesthouse with four separate apartments. Does not really have too much amenities nor any "extra" comfort factors like airco, bar, daily cleaning or anything.
Still, the guesthouse is located nicely at Tábor old town, apartments are comfortable and have their own bathrooms and kitchens.
There is also basic breakfast available; instant coffee, bread , yoghurt and scrambled eggs - edible yet not anything fancy or special.
Kind of Wi-FI available, signal is poor in anywhere else than breakfast room and if you do get a connection, it is really sluggish.
As an overall, as this guesthouse is ver affordable priced, quite worth the money as long as you do not expect guesthouse to be hotel.

Great location, excellent breakfast

The pension is located in a beautifully restored building in a quiet street just off the charming town square. We booked the double room at the back, which was a bit small for us, but nicely furnished and very clean. Breakfast was excellent with eggs cooked to order and freshly baked cakes. When we visited, there was wifi only in the common areas. Tabor is a must-visit, a historical town away from the crowds in Prague.

Surprising comfortable

I stayed overnight with my son daughter in law and eight month old baby. We had a family room with bathroom and found it spacious clean and comfortable. The decor was pristine and the beds exceptionally comfortable. Our stay was very quiet as the other room had one occupant. Breakfast was excellent. We were offered cooked as well as continental which was freshly made by a very friendly lady who was pleased to serve us. Location is excellent. At the centre of the old part of the town and easy to walk around from. Fantastic value and a very enjoyable stay.

Baby- and adult-friendly :-)

I stayed at Staromestsky penzion with my partner, our eight-month-old daughter and my mum, and I was very impressed by the facilities, the location and the service. Every request we made (and we made a few) was dealt with promptly and helpfully, including providing a baby cot. The only issue we had was finding a parking place near the pension but I imagine the same is true for most accommodation in Tabor's old town. Otherwise, I couldn't fault it.
