Nice hotel and great cousine

Only one night after concert in New Drive Club in castle Holešov.Hotel is after reconstruction.I think it was good choice.Next day we celebrated Martin's day with our son in restaurant Tacl.We tasted young wine,duck and goos with cabage and dumpling. We were maximaly satisfied.

Generally good hotel, but with some shortcomings

This hotel is a few minutes walk from the town square, very conveniently located. My twin room was spacious, immaculately clean, good beds/bedding, ample storage, very good bathroom, very quiet, and with much-needed aircon. There was just the one chair in the room, a functional, wooden desk chair. The bar next door (owned by the hotel) serves surprisingly good food, with excellent prices, and friendly service.
However, the hotel is let down by the fact that staff are rarely on hand, except at breakfast, Reception was never staffed, and so when I wanted to ask for an extra pillow, and report a faulty light, there was no one to report it to. Breakfast was poor and very basic. Not even any preserves. When I checked out, only then was I asked to complete a form with passport details, at a time when I needed to get to the bus station. Why wasn't this requested at check-in, or at breakfast? Really odd. With better interface between staff and guests, I would have scored this higher.

Good small hotel

Well, there is not much choice you have in Holesov to find a hotel. The Tacl however is a nice and clean hotel fairly in the middle of town. It has clean and big rooms, decorated in an Oriental style. The staff is not always available when checking-in, but you will get the keys in their restaurant. Their Continental breakfast comprises of a variety of fresh food and is absolutely satisfactory for a three-star-hotel. Their restaurant offers good meals in the evening for hungry guests. They have a secure parking place a few meters next to the hotel. All-in-all a good 3-star hotel in this small town.

A positive SHOCK

Usually, when you travel tgrough small cities in Czech Republic, youi can have problems to find a corresponding accommodation. I came to Holesov at 6 p.m., looked into the internet in my mobile phone. Found the hotel, got contact to the reception. The reception is not working the whole day, but I was directed to the restaurant of the same name Restaurace TASL, where made registration, got the electronic key cards from the parkplace and the room entracne. What happened the, was a SCHOCK. Hilton level of accomodation, starting from the carpets in the groundfloor up to the PERFECT CLEAN SMELLING ROOM . Fantastic, simply fantastic. If you travel so often like me, you will ENJOY THE STAY HERE.

First Class

The TACL has all the facilities of a major city hotel. The rooms are very well furnished and equipped with air conditioning, satellite TV and WiFi.
Beds are very comfortable. Bathroom very neat with a good shower.
Breakfast is a cold buffet with a good choice of cereals, fruits, cheeses and breads. Wide range of fruit teas plus good coffee.
Staff friendly and speak good English.
A little gem.
