Excellent séjour

Accueil très chaleureux avec café turque offert. Hote aux petits soins.Appartement propre. Bonne literie. Très lumineux. Terrasse avec vue sur mer. Loin du bruit de la ville. Je recommande vivement cet établissement.

A most agreeable stay

Location wise, this hotel is sat atop the big hill which casts a shadow over the main town of Ulcinj, and it is quite a trek up the hill to reach the accommodation; even a walking connoisseur such as myself became disdainful of the hike.
However, once there, you will be greeted by perhaps the friendliest family you could ever hope to meet. I was bombarded with delightful hospitality, being served cups of coffee and juice alongside an assortment of biscuits.
The view out across the hazy Adriatic is enough to make a grown adult cry with joy, and lots of convenient shops sprawl up near the hotel which comes in handy when you realise you have run out of water in the stifling 35 degrees centigrade heat.
Unfortunately, the WiFi is incredibly poor and, as previously mentioned, the march into town is not enviable.
Overall, though, I would recommend any passers through Ulcinj to take rest at the Alvanita.
