Stayed for 1 night and left at 5am to climb Bobotuv Kuk. They kindly made us a packed breakfast to go. Good sauna.

Unfriendly and rude waiter/s

The waiters never greeted us, nor did they ever approach us if we would like something to drink during dinner. Waiters even blocked our way as we approached the food table. I experienced harassment from an older waiter when he approached me after breakfast in the garden of the hotel and said that the table was occupied and that I should move away, even though all the tables were empty, without guests. Openly shown intolerance. The hotel is generally good and comfortable, the food is excellent. The staff is disinterested and unhelpful. The bright spot is the girl from the reception, professional, helpful and kind. The elevator is small, narrow and slow. The hotel does not have wheelchair access.

Good choice for a short stay in the Durmitor Plateau

This was the third hotel that we stayed at during our Jules Verne ‘Montenegro Explorer’ tour, and we stayed there for 1 night. It’s situated in the Durmitor plateau, a few minutes’ drive from Žabljak on the road to the Tara Canyon Bridge, with lovely views of the surrounding mountains. It’s a small hotel, with a tiny restaurant and bar area, where we had a buffet dinner and breakfast during our stay. There was not much choice of food at both meals, but the food itself was more than adequate, and the staff were very helpful. The lift was old and cranky though, and we were more than a little afraid of getting stuck in it!
We were allocated room 206, which turned out to be a Studio Apartment on the 2nd floor. This was a large and bright room with a separate seating area and good sized bathroom. We found the room to be comfortable overall, although we did have some issues with creaking floorboards, barking dogs and inward-opening windows that did not work well with the curtains. Others in our group were not so lucky with their room allocations and ended up in rooms that were dark and awkwardly configured. Overall, it was a good option for a short stay, but I’m not sure I’d want to stay there for more than a couple of days.

We booked 3 nights. Wifi was very bad, couldn’t connect most of the time. Breakfast was standard, we missed wheatbread and fruit for the yoghurt. Elevator was a nightmare, way down it always stuck in the 2d floor. The floor in our room creaked very loudly. Our upstairs neighbors had all kinds of people over for two nights in a row to drink and stagger. I’ve never said this before, but don’t book this one…

Good.

Nice, spacious room that was cleaned daily. Staff at reception and restaurant are very friendly and helpful.
The meals are not wow and very basic. Breakfast sober but sufficient, supper satisfy hunger after a day Durmitor but is not a high class meal.
Location is good, by car near the Tarak Gorge and near the Durmitor ring.
