Very nice hotel

If you are looking for an escape from city noise and everyday stress, I believe Forest Park Hotel in Platres is the perfect choice.
With its charming old-world character surrounded by beautiful forest, this hotel offers true relaxation. The rooms are spacious, spotless, and come with a small balcony where a pine branch seems to belong just to you -a delightful touch that makes the experience even more special.
The à la carte restaurant is very good, and my compliments to the chef. The breakfast deserves special mention: it was excellent, and I must highlight what was, without doubt, the best and most delicious cheese pie I have ever tasted. It is one of the stars of their buffet breakfast, and you should not miss it!
The true soul of this hotel, however, is its staff. My heartfelt thanks to the wonderful young receptionists, Marianna and Harri. Their professionalism, kindness, and genuine willingness to help and serve guests left my family and me absolutely delighted.
I would also like to warmly praise Mani, the young waiter who assisted us during breakfast. His friendliness and attentive service made our mornings even more enjoyable.
Thank you to all these wonderful people for making our stay so memorable.
My only criticism is the early check-out time of 11:00 a.m., which I found a little too early. Apart from that, everything was excellent, and I would be happy to return.

A great getaway hotel

We were staying in the old wing, which indeed does need renovating. However, I will not detail any negatives concerning the "old" room we stayed in because I know that the hotel is undergoing a graduated renovation, and it's a work in progress.
I know that the spa (indoor pool & sauna etc) are currently closed for renovation. The outdoor pool (heated) is open however.
So, what do we have?
Location: Situated high up in the mountains in Platres, built amongst the trees, with lovely outdoor restaurant/cafe sitting areas and surrounding gardens... it is gorgeous and serene. A marvelous place to get away from the city heat and noise.
Food: The menu is extensive, and the chef/s do a marvelous job. The food is excellent!
The staff are friendly, and eager to please.
The rooms have all the necessary amenities, and the beds are very comfy.
I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel, and we WILL be back!

Absolutely disappointing. The attitude of some members of management is honestly shocking. It’s one thing to have rules, but it’s another thing to treat people with unnecessary arrogance and make them feel unwelcome.
Definitely not the level of professionalism or hospitality you would expect from a hotel. A little more respect and a little less attitude would go a long way.

Bad

Very disappointing experience. I was treated in a way that made me feel extremely uncomfortable and unwelcome. The way certain situations are handled by management could definitely be more respectful and professional.
I understand that every hotel has its own rules, but clear communication and basic respect should always come first. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here. The stuff was really rude and not helpful

Room was spacious and had all the required amenities to get by. The breakfast to go was a great option gor me as I was checking out before breakfast was served at 7:30. Staff were hospitable and approachable. A/C in the room was also great. Beds were soft and large.
