A Magical Stay I Didn’t Want to End
A special thank you to Batu, our Ambassador, who took such amazing care of me throughout my entire stay. His warmth, attention, and incredible service made the experience even more special.
Maslina Resort was truly magical — I loved it so much I extended my stay another night! The rooms and views are stunning, the infinity pool is incredibly sexy, the sunsets are unforgettable, and the crystal-clear sea is absolute perfection. One of those places you simply don’t want to leave. I can’t wait to come back!

Blissful experience at Maslina Resort
We have had an amazing time from the moment we arrived. We were warmly greeted by Gandi as we exited the cab. Next, we meet with Batu, the VIP Ambassador. He has been very ingratiating and very informative ever since we’ve arrived.. He constantly checks with us to ensure that our experience is exemplary..

Beautiful hotel but overpriced due to food and slow service
The amazing:
1 the view / setting – second to none
2 the closing house party on the Sat night in the beach bar – amazing music / world class sound quality / great DJS / friendly crowd. Ibiza 90s vibe but without the excess
3 the staff – friendly and helpful throughout – sorted out our broken air con / easy and regular lifts into Stari Grad / always with a smile – special mention to Leo
4 the vibe – an oasis
5 the gym – very high quality but need to look at the air con
6 the wooden electric bikes - need some helmets though and a bit of guidance where you can and can’t go (eg don't go through the mountain tunnel as there will be police waiting the otherside).
Room for improvement
1. Overall quality of service – slow slow slow and then super slow all too often. No one once asked us around the pool if we wanted another drink – could make loads more money here and maybe reduce the room rate / cost of food
2. Breakfast – terribly painfully slow service at times. Decent selection of ala carte hot food BUT often cold. At this price should be striving to hit the quality of the Datia / Ibiza Gran (latter being the best breakfast in the world with the former not far behind).
3. The food at lunch – poke bowls at the beach bar distinctly average. Lunch food some bright sports – the benito and hamburger - but some dishes offensive overpriced eg the seafood risotto. I never order chips but had this most days.
All in all a beautiful hotel but overpriced at more than a grand a room a night.

Our experience was extremely disappointing. Although the property is new and beautifully decorated, with a privileged location and beach, good rooms and food, the level of service was unacceptable.
It started with the expensive private transfers booked through the hotel. On arrival, the taxi was not waiting, the boat was a third-party vessel rather than the hotel boat we had paid for, and no transfer was waiting at Stari Grad. The concierge then forgot our request for a private boat tour, requiring us to follow up the next day, and eventually booked us on the wrong tour. Pool and beach service was equally poor, and even arranging a taxi involved long waits and repeated follow-ups.
The worst happened on departure. That morning, we reconfirmed our expensive private boat transfer to Split with two staff members, having already confirmed it by email. When we returned to leave, we discovered THEY HAD FORGOTTEN TO BOOK IT. With a flight to catch and no boat available, they eventually found a small improvised speedboat an hour later. The ride was extremely bumpy and uncomfortable, we and our belongings arrived wet, and we had to rush to avoid missing our flight.
The price is completely incompatible with the service. Staff seemed unprepared, understaffed and often unhelpful. I cannot recommend this hotel. Even if cost were irrelevant, no guest at a hotel positioning itself at this level should receive such service.
