a basic accommodation in the centre

In a very central location is this guesthouse with rooms in a row. I had a triple room with three beds, each with a small night table and a lamp. There was also a writing desk and the friendly owner, Ivan, told me that I had especially asked for one, when booking. Despite the size there was not much storage space and the room was anything else than cozy and the view was towards a wall.
The room had an empty fridge, but no tea or coffee making facilities. The shower in the bathroom was fine, but there was just a big bottle of shampoo, no shower gel. Also no hairdryer.
For me the best about the accommodation was the breakfast, where again Ivan was in charge. He told me that among the cold cuts they have some homemade Slavonian specialities like 'Kulen' (a sausage to be eaten cold), Slanina (salt-cured pork fat) and Cvarak (pork cracklings). Naturally it also had cheese slices, fried and scrambled eggs as well as whole fruit and vegetables (not cut up). Coffee, brought to the table, was excellent.

Wonderful stay

Amazing stay, the owner was incredibly friendly and helpful, rooms were very clean, well equipped and stylish, the beds were very comfortable, and the breakfast was lovely and varied. Would 100% recommend, great value for money, so near the city centre, but very quiet, I cannot think of any flaws at all and a very positive experience overall.

Enchanting in Winter

I was in Osijek for a short conference. Rooms Lisnic was a fabulous place to have as a base - central, yet just outside the busiest streets. All of our rooms were comfortable, clean, warm, and well presented. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My one critique was that although the rooms were non smoking and smoke free, the bar area was very smoky. Osijek is a beautiful city, especially when draped in snow. We also found some great places to eat, as recommend by the hotel staff - check out Trip Adviser's list!

comfortable room close to city centre

This was a spacious room with a very comfortable bed and a desk, but no windows only a skylight. The lighting was quite dim. The owner and his father were extremely helpful. Parking was available on the street right outside. It was only a short walk to the main square and the church with its stunning bell tower - the older part of the city was a bit further to walk - or you could hop on a tram. The river was only a hundred metres away. The room was quite hot and in summer the mosquitoes are a real problem due to the immense wetlands close by. Breakfast was really good - muesli, bacon and eggs, toast, jam, ham, cheese, fruit, fruit juice, coffee. Osijek is a lovely city.

Friendly staff!

A small and comfortable hotel in the centre of Osijek. Really friendly and helpful staff. The rooms got an efficient air conditioning, a refridgerator, a small tv, a lovely bed and wooden floor. Clean and tidy.
