Highly recommended
Very clean, airconditioned room and a lovely terrace with beautiful view to the sea. The staff family was super friendly and welcoming - they even offered to drive us to Stari Grad port in case our ferry from Hvar town would had been cancelled due to strong wind. The location is very nice as it's in a more peaceful part of the town but still 15 minutes walk away from all the buzz. Theres also a really cute beach about 400-500 m away in a bit more secluded bay. Would definitely go again :)

A wonderful rental in Hvar
My husband and I just returned from a two and a half week trip through Croatia and Italy. We really enjoyed staying at Villa Kristonia in Hvar. I found the rental through VRBO.com, and later realized it was on tripadvisor. I was concerned that there have be no recent reviews- I was worried for NO REASON!
Mila was a wonderful host. They picked us us at the ferry port upon our arrival. She answered many of our questions about the island and made us feel at home.
We had booked the top floor apartment and the views were just to die for! We had breakfast and coffee every morning and wine every evening on our private balcony, watching all the sailboats and yachts pass us by.
The apartment had all the amenities we needed. The location was also perfect for us. It was about a fifteen minute walk into the harbor of Hvar, or a fifteen minute walk in the other direction to my one of my favorite beaches to date. While a fifteen minute walk may seem long- it is really not bad, considering the view you get on the way. This also makes it a kind of quiet retreat from the crazy clubbing that is happening into the wee hours of the morning in the main town.

Magic
We spent a lovely 5 days on Hvar, A beautiful island, and Hvar town was the perfect base for us to explore. What made the stay extra special was the apartment we stayed in. We made a very late booking and Mila was extremely prompt in getting back to us and confirming it for us.
Upon arrival we were shown our room and were very pleased to find that we had been upgraded to what must have been one of the best apartments (at the top). It was just out of season, so I guess this helped make that possible. The views of the sea were fantastic and all encompassing, making sitting on the balcony a real pleasure. What struck us most was that despite only being a 15 minute walk from the main Harbor, the surroundings were almost totally silent except for the odd boat passing by, and the sound of the birds. Just another 15 minutes from the Apartment in the opposite direction to the Harbor is a lovely little cove with 2 lovely restaurants.
Mila was the perfect hostess, showing us to our apartment, giving us a quick run down of the facilities and then leaving us to it. She was always on hand to give us advise when required. And always smiling!

Lovely guest apartment in Hvar, Croatia
The Villa Kristonia made for a very nice stay in Hvar, Croatia. The room was clean and comfortable with an amazing view of the sea from the private balcony. There was a beach with restaurant about 15 minutes away and the city center is about 15 minutes in the other direction. It would be a great option for someone wanting peace and quiet away from the town. The only negative is that it is about 15 minutes from the ferry port, so if you have luggage I'd recommend taking a taxi.

Lovely for two
Siamo stati 5 giorni presso l'appartamento lovely for two della villa. L'appartamento è un monolocale creato nel sottotetto dell'appartamento: carinissimo! Nuovissimo, arredato con gusto e con stile moderno. La cucina dispone anche di una mini lavastoviglie (dettaglio che non ho mai avuto il piacere di trovare in altre case vacanze). Il bagno nuovo e con un box doccia molto spazioso. La pulizia dell'appartamento davvero impeccabile. Elemento caratterizzante: il terrazzino con vista mare e sulla pineta di fronte. La villa è in una posizione ottimale, vicinissima anche a piedi al centro storico di Hvar ma al tempo stesso in una zona molto tranquilla. Padroni di casa molto gentili.
