Bozava maxim 2020

View from the hotel is beautiful, you can see all the boats coming to marine and the sea as well as distant islands. Sea is very clean so it is excellent for diving. Bozava is small place so if you are looking for peace and relaxation, this is place for you. There are only 3-4 restaurants nearby. Hotel is clean and staff is polite, just the dinner is not adequate for 4 star rated hotel - variety of the food and type (although it was well prepared).

Rooms smell of urine

Stayed in apartment 4; there is a problem with the plumbing and the bathrooms smell badly of urine. Hotel give excuses - offered to swop the smell for a smell of strong bleach! Something is wrong. Dated and strange food and beverage in restaurant. Overall place feels like a Soviet Union hotel, staff look depressed.

Does not deserve 4 stars

The room itself is big and clean. However, there is not enough plugs to connect a laptop, the tv quite small for such a room. Despite that it is ok.
What is absolutely terrible is the breakfast, it’s been long time I did not see so poor choice, and if you stay a week, you’ll get bored very fast.
The dinner inclusive is not to recommend, here again the choice is very small and quality acceptable but nothing wow.
On Sufi took, prices in restaurants are quite reasonable, therefore, I would recommend trying the local restaurants rather than the ones in the hotel.

top location, lovely rooms, too noisy swimming pool

Dugi otok is a precious gem island worth exploring by car.
Clean sea, peace under the pine trees, free deck chairs on the hotel beach, decent although quite modest food, but fresh and nice.
Parents should not let their kids unattended at the swimming pool for adults, but some fathers even jump with their kids ,so it is impossible to relax by the pool. We try to steal a swim in the morning before wild parents and kids occupy the place. Thus is up to the hotel management to set some house rules. We used to stay here 20 years ago with our kids and this was an peaceful oasis, and everybody enjoyed by the pool, so we know this can be improved. Don’t book a room overlooking the pool if you want a nice siesta.
The rooms are lovely and the view from the balcony spectacular. If you are afraid of heights, book rooms beginning with 0 or 1.
Lovely roar of little boats and waves hitting the rocks below the hotel.Friendly staff.
Absence of tea-time facilities and no cakes in Bozava.
We love this place , it just needs some little extra improvements.

Very nice but not a 4* hotel

We wanted a good hotel for our vacation and we almost got all we want. Equipment and rooms in general are not a 4* hotel level. It is a solid 3* hotel. If you like peace and quiet then this is place for you. Rooms are clean. Reception staff not on high level. Restaurant staff great and we met a chef. Breakfast is boaring and basic. Dinner was opposite - very rich, diverse and surprising. Place Božava is extra small village so not much to see. Recomend to have a car and explore island as it is a gem.
