We stayed at lyf Dayanta Xi'an by Ascott for 5 nights. Service was generally good and welcoming. We appreciated the spacious size of the apartment and the amenities available. Breakfast variety was considered quite good given the good room rates and location of the hotel. Checkin and out was very smooth and quick too.
Suggest a few areas for improvement:
1)We had a bit of difficulty finding the entrance to the hotel. Although the entrance was very brightly lit, it is quite concealed by the facade of the adjacent bigger building . It'd be helpful to put some signages nearby e.g. at the points where cars stop for passengers to alight, to make it easier for guests to locate the entrance.
2) Provide coffee at breakfast in addition to tea and milk, and butter in addition to jam . For guests from South East Asia, coffee is commonly drunk in the morning.

Pros:
The hotel staff are very friendly, especially the lovely cleaning lady on floor 10. The location is excellent, in the middle of Datang Everbright City, with plenty of restaurants and entertainment options nearby. The chic décor is modern and stylish, adding to the hotel’s charm.
Cons:
While the staff and location were great, the management is not fully equipped for a 4-star hotel. The facilities feel more like a condo. During our 5-night stay, we had three power outages and one accidental fire alarm. The hotel entrance is hard to find, causing two delayed deliveries.
The biggest issue: we booked a one-bedroom, one-living-room suite for 3, but it arrived with only one king bed. The living room sofa was not convertible, and we were offered a rollaway bed at EXTRA cost, despite having paid for three guests. I ended up using the bay window sitting area as a makeshift bed (which was comfortable), but good service should ensure every paid guest has proper sleeping arrangements, rather than leaving guests to figure it out themselves.
Overall:
This would be an excellent 3.5-star hotel, but not comparable to other 4- or 4.5-star hotels I’ve stayed at. The staff and location are strong, but management and facilities need improvement to meet true 4-star standards.

I recently stayed at LFY Hotel from 12 sept -14 sept and also 15 sept to 18 sept, and it was a fantastic experience! The staff were incredibly friendly, customer-oriented, and always ready to help, making the whole stay even more enjoyable. The environment was spotless, and the hotel itself is quite new, which added to the overall appeal. They offer free access to a washing machine and dryer in the common area, which was a really convenient touch. The complimentary coffee in the lounge area was great, and the space had a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for hosting friends.
The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of everything. There’s plenty of night activity with performances, and if you’re up for it, there are several shops where you can rent a Tang Dynasty costume – such a unique experience! Shopping malls are nearby, so you can easily shop and dine. Just make sure you have the Didi app handy for getting around.
I am also thankful for the little gestures they have in welcoming us. As my hub was having his birthday when we came, there was a handwritten note and a pair of swan with roses on the bed. Super sweet of them to also prepare our national flower as welcoming gesture from where we came from. As we arrived near mooncake festival there also free lantern provided to let us have the feel of the festival

Overall, I highly recommend LFY Hotel for a comfortable stay with great service and plenty to do nearby!
