百侯山庄 is truly a gem addition to the town.
The property is very well maintained, peaceful and tranquil. Everyone from front office, kitchen, security and housekeeping are like family and we had many lovely conversations with them. Special thanks to the chef for our daily breakfast who cooked up all the lovely Hakka dishes and even treated us to a special one on our last day.
The climb to the top of the hill at the back of the property is well recommended if you have the stamina as the view is beautiful. Location wise is ideal as 百侯镇 is just across the road as well as 田园农庄 around 600m up from the right of the property serves very tasty Hakka food definitely worth the walk up. Overall our trip back to the ancestral hometown has been made perfect with our stay here.
Just want to say thank you to all the staff at 百侯山庄 for making this a complete and memorable trip!

I liked close to everything in this hotel, so I extended my stay for a second night.
The location is really nice: the hotel is within walking distance to the nearby town and the touristic area although it requires crossing a main road. Staff was very welcoming and helped us find a driver to go to the more remote sites we wanted to visit (some tulous and rice terraces).
The room was very clean, modern without superfluous, with a pretty view and it was very quiet at night.
The horel breakfast was very good. In addition, there were a few restaurants in town. The one we picked was delicious and overall we enjoyed the welcoming atmosphere of this small town.

The hotel is opposite to the Baihou Ancient Town Tourist Center. I like the decoration style of the hotel very much. There is a pavilion on the back of the hotel. You can drink tea with friends on it. I am very satisfied.

I usually don’t write reviews, so I’m here to write one this time. I checked in on the second day of the new year. Before I checked in, I was always worried about the poor sanitation and dilapidated facilities of the hotels in the small county, but after I checked in, I was worried. Baihou Villa is very new from the outside to the inside, with complete facilities and an open-air parking lot in the yard. The room facilities are also very new. The hair dryer is of good quality, with strong wind and even heat. The socket holes are blocked by partitions, so there will be no problem of hidden cameras. Although there is a big road at the entrance, there are no cars at night, even the rooms facing the road are very quiet. Baihou Ancient Town is just across the street, and it takes only a few minutes to walk there. It is more convenient to go to Huae Building and Tai'an Building here. It takes half an hour to drive. Highly recommended
