Relaxing retreat

I only stayed one night at HUALUXE Kunming, but it was enough to leave a great impression. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the whole hotel has a calm, relaxing atmosphere.
The property is beautifully designed with modern Chinese décor, peaceful gardens, swans on the pond, and mountains in the background. It feels more like a resort than a city hotel.
A nice touch is the 40°C heated plunge pools in the common area. My room also had a private heated pool, which was perfect after a day of sightseeing.
Breakfast had a good mix of American and Chinese options, including an egg station, bacon, sausages, congee, steamed buns, and fried tofu. The only thing missing was made-to-order coffee, although tea seems to be the focus here.
I also noticed many local guests staying here, which says a lot. If you’re looking for a peaceful place to relax in Kunming, I’d happily recommend HUALUXE.

First trip to Yunnan, a good start

It was my first trip to Yunnan with my nephew and cousin. MS Jeanee at the front desk of the hotel helped me arrange 2 good rooms. It also tells us that the nearby 1903 mall is nice to visit.

A great hotel in a nice location. A great check in team , which informed us in advance by mail . Room service and sleeping comfort top. The restaurant team great and everything went in English . Great breakfast and buffet in the evening including hotspot for us the best How to come back

Great Stay

We had a great 3 nights stay here. The hotel emailed me in advance to ask about my estimated arrival time. So when I arrived before check in time, my room was ready. This is a resort hotel on a sprawling ground so there was some walking to get to my room but we were ok about it. Room itself was big, bathroom was big, a corner for walk in closet, toilet in separate stall and a big bath tub in the middle between the bedroom and the bathroom, which was separated by sliding doors. Beds were comfortable. Room was clean and well equipped. Amenities looked luxurious. Balcony was a good spot for us to sit and just enjoy the fresh air, blue sky and peaceful surrounding when we had time in between sightseeing. I especially liked the personalized assistance provided by the hotel receptionist/concierge and really felt pampered during my stay.
Breakfast was plenty. Many local delicacies in the spread among the more usual stuffs like egg station, breads, cereal etc. Machine coffee and variety of tea, juices etc.
Indoor swimming pool, gym, kids play room, a small shop selling swim wear at their fitness centre.
Location is near Dian Lake, Yunnan Ethnic Village and the cable car station to go across Dian Lake to the Western Hills. So it’s very convenient to go there from the hotel. There were also some eateries just outside of the hotel on the main road.

We had a fantastic stay at the HUALUXE Hotel in Kunming. The hotel offers excellent service, comfortable rooms, delicious food, and a friendly atmosphere. A special thanks to Stephan, who went above and beyond to assist us throughout our stay. Since we don’t speak Chinese, Stephan was always there to help with any communication barriers, making sure all our needs were met. His dedication and support 24/7 truly made our experience memorable. We highly recommend this hotel and look forward to staying here again in the future!
