Manage your expectations

This property is far from being an international 5 star hotel. At best its honestly more of a 3 star hotel. Manage your expectations and all will be fine.
Location wise, unless you're attending a wedding or big conference, I wouldn't recommend it. If you are travelling and visiting the city, then I would recommend staying closer to the city (like the Sheraton), where all the main sites are.
Disappointing: Lounge is kept closed during the day and it only opens in the evening.
Breakfast is an ok spread.
Gym is not somewhere I would want to spend a lot of time.
Room: Large and dark
Staff cater for local guests and don't speak English.

The lack of tourism information is a major disappointment. The concierge should have references to local tours of Guiyang city, if not to major tourist spots in Guizhou. No maps of city or brochures of tours were available.
