Service could be better

Good location, clean rooms but service and member loyalty could be better recognized
Made 2 stays here with another in between at Ritz Rissai Valley with no chance of a suite despite online availability.
For the price you’re paying for this hotel/ not significantly different from st Regis or ritz Chengdu (approx 200 RMB more). Suggest to book the hotels there instead if you’re a Marriott member. At least you’ll feel better taken of and happier checking in.
Ie, both occasions no one offered to send baggage’s up even though we had 2 old folks traveling with us. Even after speaking to the (I believe manager who was wearing black when she greeted me about not offering to send baggage’s up. All she did was to apologize when she could have salvaged the situation by offering to help out!)
Guess there’s a reason why they are rated less than 2 stars on Bonvoy app and management needs to work on taking care of the people who are spending the most within the chain.

Nice facility and good service. However, it can get quite noisy during nearby music festivals. There aren't many attractions within walking distance, so need to take a taxi for most outings.
