Latinoamericano Hostel
Latinoamericano Hostel is located in Valparaíso, 50 metres from the bus station and 300 metres from Baron beach. Free Wi-Fi access is available. Rooms at this hostel offer shared bathroom facilities. Guests are served daily Continental breakfast for an extra fee. Guests will have access to free tea, coffee and the use of the microwave. The property is 300 metres from Baron train station and 2 km from Concepcion hill. Ancha beach is 3,9 km away and Arturo Merino Benitez airport is 85 km from the property. Please note that if paying with credit card, VAT may not be excluded as the payment is made in Chilean pesos. Based on local tax laws, Chilean citizens (and foreigners staying more than 59 days in Chile) must pay an additional fee of 19%. Please note that for tax exemption travelers must pay in US dollars and have to present the migration card they are given when they arrive to the country. Foreign business travelers, who require a printed invoice, will also be charged the additional 19% regardless of the length of their stay in Chile. This fee is not automatically calculated in the total costs for the reservation. A deposit via bank wire is required to secure your reservation. Tips: be aware the showers are cold, select your pillow wisely and you will need a little Spanish.

DISGUSTING! Do not stay here!
The "showers" are usually one sad stream of cold water. I could usually get about 30-60 seconds of hot water before it turned cold again. Never had time for a full shampoo.
Toilets are dirty. TP usually not provided. Showers are disgustingly dirty. The kitchen is a tiny room which can fit maximum two people. Only burner works. It is also...you guessed it...dirty.
The whole place feels like an opium den - run down and awful.
A bit far from where you want to be in Valparaiso, but you can take the metro and walk.
Pluses are it is right near the bus stop, the internet works, and water is provided.

Bello lugar valparaiso a 5 min de viña del mar. Buenos lugares para comprar barato. Comidas esquisitas.
