Happy House is a comfortable hostel in a 20-century mansion, only 2 blocks away from Los Heroes Metro Station. It offers guided tours to Concha and Toro Winery, and an outdoor pool.

Budget accommodation with excellent facilities, good location and quiet ambiance!
The location on Moneda not far from airport bus stop Los Heroes and the old town is good. There are supermarkets near by and the shared kitchen is well enough equipped to cook (missed spoons though). The rooms and premises are spacious and quiet! Facilities such as the hot showers and toilets worked well. WiFi could be better in the rooms, but overall good. Beds are comfortable and bunk frames are stable. Breakfast is substantial (eggs, white bread, jam, yoghurt, cereals, milk, coffee or tea). Staff is friendly and helpful.
Out of 12 hostels I stayed at in Chili, this one was the best. A major factor is this hostel is relaxed and quiet!
Difficult to extend your stay, as all the beds are online and often the place is fully booked. The neighbourhood is not safe after dark (the part between the hostel and the Human Rights museum is rather run-down).

Beautiful and well located hostel
The hostel is great in the service of the staff, always caring and polite.
It has other very positive highlights: the fact of having breakfast is great, because eating in Chile is expensive and already having this meal included helps a lot; the location is quite close to the metro Los Héroes, which in addition to facilitating travel in the country is the final station of the bus Centropuerto that comes from the airport (a great economy because the Centropuerto costs 2mil pesos and the second cheaper transfer, the transvip costs 17mil pesos).
I think the cleaning could be better, when I requested I found that the room was still a little dirty and there was no bed linen change. The rooms closest to the entrance can be a little noisy depending on the good will of the other guests and the coffee could have more variety. But that's just an observation, not a complaint, because it was always good. The wi-fi in the front rooms could have a better reach as well.
I highly recommend the hostel!

Private room. Fun dinner.
The location is very good. Close to the subway, close to liquid distributors, bakeries, markets, restaurants, bars, away from the confusion of tourist neighborhoods. Uber and Cabify have always quickly accepted races.
I only had contact with the receptionists and the kitchen staff. Most of the staff were very receptive and kind. We had problems sometimes with some, mainly about asking for something and not doing, giving some wrong information, etc... I especially thank Francisco (I think that was his name) for being always available, friendly and resolute... he stayed almost every night at the reception.
Breakfast is always the same, always white-shaped bread, a slice of ham, a bowl of mixed eggs, sweet milk, jelly and butter, apple (single fruit served), cereal, milk, yogurt, an industrialized cake filled, coffee and tea, but for 7 days ok. Cristian when in the kitchen is wonderful, animates the breakfast and organizes everything quickly with a lot of smile on the face. By the way, he also makes dinners at the hostel, where the guest pays in advance and participates in the lively dinner with Cristian and other guests in the pool area. It was the best part of the lodging.
There's no room cleaning if you don't ask.
We had trouble organizing tours between hostel reception and Chiletour, our partner tour agency. Disappointing some questions, but at least we took a walk. Worst part: fuel heater q ends fast... has q ask all the time to repair and depends on the goodwill of whoever has in the reception.
There is no shelf or counter in the bathroom to support products and belongings. Difficult temperature control shower. Box with curtain.

Very cool place to stay, make friends and go to snow activities
It was a lovely stay, good size twin room, nice bathroom and cool casual atmosphere.
They managed to put us in contact with tour places and there was lots os things and bars to go close by.
I would stay again.

Great Hostel - Good Location
My wife and I stayed at three Happy House Hostel for three nights in a private room. The hostel is in a very neat old building with nice amenities such as the pool, bar, and outdoor lounging area. The folks who work at the hostel were all very nice and accommodating and the guests were friendly as well. Highly recommend this hostel for travelers.
