Good hotel, located in front of the beach and with restaurants and shops very close. Well equipped and comfortable room. Good space.

Great value

Puerto Chico Hotel is a simple, no-frills hotel, but it provides great value in different aspects. Very comfortable beds, clean rooms, reliable wifi, convenient parking at the back, Breakfast, served in the adjacent Cambalache restaurant, is very good (do not forget to taste the pies available for free at the bar). By the way, you get a discount when you dine at the Cambalache, totally worth it. The hotel is not in the town center, which is actually a good thing - it is located close to the exit to Ensenada and Petrohué so you avoid the morning traffic when going to these destinations (including ht evolcano). Short walk by the lake to the best attraction in Puerto Varas, the Pablo Fierro museum.

It's not what they offer in the pages.

Poorly maintained hotel, noisy, dirty, no lake view. It has bad insulation between the rooms, you hear everything that happens in the rooms upstairs and on the sides, the woods creak all day and night, I felt like being sleeping in the emerald of the 1800s.

Mala gestion

When we arrived at the hotel at 23:30h we were told k we had no room and that we showed you the reservation papers 3 months earlier. We were three couples. The solution was to take us to a horror hotel a street further. No heating, no towels, tiny room... He had to call our agency, with threats to fix the problem. One night to forget, we're not coming back.

Clean and safe hotel with an excellent breakfast included. Very nice restaurant attached, and an easy walk to the downtown area.
