Nice and convenient location

Hotel is super nice! Unique architecture, clean, spacious-room and bathroom, comfortable beds and sheets. I didn’t give 5 because it is located by the highway which was convenient for out one night stay before reaching the airport but the highway noise never stops.

An overnight stay on the way south.

A stopover in Curico. A small bungalow wow, rather already a bit old. But what the hell. The beds were very good and nice and big. However, what caused trouble for my wife were triple noises on the floor. Obviously we were not alone in the room. Mouse or rat was the question. At 4 a.m. in the morning, Mann went hunting without success. While concocting, we discovered some rat traps around the house. All right. So and now: The dinner was top notch, the morning meal was delivered because we had meant that this would be served until 10.30, without any problems. That was good. However, you would have to renovate the whole time and keep an eye on the unpleasant four-legged friends.

Very bad experience

Upon arrival we were charged more than the confirmation and because it was high season we could not go to another hotel either. The place is not very safe as anyone with a vehicle can enter without control and therefore, there is a feeling of insecurity. Our hab. It couldn't be completely closed and neither could I. We arrived at breakfast after a group and there was nothing left and there was almost no restocking we also had no table and we were accommodated next to a bar. I wouldn't go back to this place.

Cozy and with an amazing Restaurant

The Hotel Villa el Descanso has some very good things and others not so much, but I think it is like every hotel, in the important aspects it seems to me that it more than meets the expectations, modern and good-sized bedroom, good TV (although they do not enable smart), bathroom with good proportions, clean and cozy room. One detail is that the description of the piece promised a tea/coffee maker and it was false, but they are details.
The restaurant is what we liked the most, not only is it delicious, it is VERY well attended, it was a great dinner that I would repeat a thousand times, the same with the breakfast, complete and everything very fresh.
Among the things that I think could be improved, in the first instance the hotel does not have room service, although they do not promise it, I think that with that restaurant it is a waste, and on the other hand the pool is very strange, it is almost a pool, in fact the The pool area has ONE lounge chair, the truth is that it is not understood.... it is 1.20 but the children enjoy it because of how low it is so we get away.
In short, the tranquility and cleanliness of the place, the excellent cuisine and service and the kindness of its people, are enough to make you want to return...

Dated but comfortable

Lovely staff, very friendly. Good location for event in Curico centre. Hotel is dated but comfortable. Rooms and bathrooms are spacious but could do with some updating/ minor repairs. Comfortable bed. No cot for babies available. Was fine for one night stay. Room service was available in the evening, nice sandwiches and desserts.
