Best place in Concón-Viña
Really very rich the place, has an amazing view. It's one of the nicest places I've ever been in Viña-Concón. I'm gonna come back happy with my family.

Reasonable facilities considering the area but with numerous side issues
Overall summary, the location is great. The cleanliness and general facilities are at or above average considering this part of the world though not up to western standards. The noise level was mostly good, but there was a side road that passes parallel to the rooms that had an occasional loud vehicle or car alarm. Overall value is hard to say as we've not been to other locations in the region to compare. The staff was friendly and helpful.
Specific side issues during our stay:
- The resort’s layout is a bit convoluted. For example, to get a pool towel, that was on floor 8. You could take a flight of stairs to go directly to the indoor pool. With my bad knee, the other option was to go further down a hall to an elevator that left you needing to pass outside a little, which can be cold on the off season evenings.
- Except for full stair cases, there are no hand rails for short steps or for getting in and out of the hot tubs and indoor pool. Not great for older folks or those that need a little assistance like myself with a weak knee.
- They advertised a buffet for lunch on Sunday, but no where did they indicate that no other food could be ordered at all, not even room service. So we left the resort to get lunch at a nearby restaurant.
- The confirmation email indicated that the pools and other areas would be closed for cleaning on Monday morning but the outside hot tubs would be operational, we were fine with that. However, on the Monday that we were there everything was closed until noon. They allowed us to stay a couple extra hours so that we could use the hot tub before we checked out.
- As the restaurant was closed on Monday morning, the confirmation email also indicated that we could get a breakfast from their mini market in the morning. Instead they delivered the food the evening before that contained a chicken sandwich, yogurt and a cold fruit juice, yet our room had no mini fridge to store those items overnight. In addition the food kit contained tea bag and a espresso cartridge, but the room also had no way to make hot water let alone use the cartridge.
- Floating wood floor boards are used in the elevators where many wet people pass. One small board broke off while we were there.
- Our room’s door lock stopped working as we returned from the failed buffet, so we had to go to the front desk to get maintenance and then wait while they replaced the battery before we could leave for the second attempt to eat lunch.

Lousy experience in stay
Unfortunately, from the first telephone contact with reception, the care provided by Miss Valentina was uncordial and unwilling to deliver clear information. This same attitude was maintained at the time of my arrival at the hotel, which generated a very negative first impression and not commensurate with a lodging service.
In addition, there are significant problems with the facilities. The refrigerator in the room was not working, which was very uncomfortable during the stay. Also, the terrace was in poor cleaning condition, with accumulated leaves and abundant dirt resulting from seagull droppings, a situation that is not only unpleasant, but also unhygienic.
I believe these situations do not meet the minimum standards expected and directly affect the guest experience.

Poor Service Experience
My profound dissatisfaction on my visit to Hippocampus... sauna with low temperatures and although I requested to raise the temperature they told me that they were damaged. Subsequently, I went to the heated pool, where I had an even more unpleasant experience. Mr. Victor started picking up the racks and non-slip mats at 8:15 p.m., which made me feel like I was being "taken out" of the area. I hope you will improve the Service for future customers
