An excellent stay at Pirin Park
Had to spend one night along with group at Pirin Park. Booking was group booking so quite fast check in and rooms allotment. Basically it is a resort type property soy room was at ground floor near the swimming pool. Thought of swimming but it was very cold around 12 Dec C so could not dare to go swimming. Checked for Spa but informed needed prior appointment. we had a buffet dinner that was excellent with quality spread and taste . Liked the icecream counter where you can choose three flavours. So is true with breakfast that gives satisfying and tasty food. Interior is very beautiful with garden , children play area lash sofas. It was an excellent experience except they provided only one small water bottle and purchase price is quite high.

Review of Our Stay at the Hotel
Stay 7-14 Aug 2026
We booked a one-week vacation for two people, and during our stay there were several things that definitely deserve positive recognition.
We booked a Superior Room in Building 4, and the room was simply excellent. It was beautifully designed and well equipped, clean, spacious, and very comfortable. Everything was well organized and convenient to use.
The bathroom was very spacious and included both a bathtub and a separate shower, which was a great advantage.
The balcony overlooked the river, and being able to sit on the balcony and listen to the sound of the flowing river was simply wonderful. It created a very relaxing atmosphere.
The Room – 10 from 10
The Spa
The spa facilities are very good. The outdoor pool is excellent, and the saunas are also of a good standard 5 hotel stars
However, there is a lack of proper relaxation rooms where guests can rest after a massage or sauna. In my opinion, this is important for a hotel of this standard.
Another issue is that children enter the spa area and create a lot of noise, especially around the ice fountain. I believe the hotel should maintain a quieter and more relaxing atmosphere in the spa area.
During our stay, we had 7 massages with 3 different therapists. Unfortunately, only one of them, whose name was Fifi, provided a really good massage. The experience with the other therapists was average , below average was Lidia

The fitness center is very good and professionally equipped. The facilities are well maintained, and there is a good selection of equipment for a proper workout.
Fitness center rating: 9/10.
And now for the most disappointing part – the food
Unfortunately, the food was by far the weakest part of our vacation.
The breakfast and dinner simply do not meet the standards expected from a 5-star hotel.

For the entire week, almost the same food was served every day, with a very limited selection. Much of the food was cold, tasteless, and of poor quality.
Even the soup seemed to be the same every day. In addition, there was a feeling that some dishes left over from the previous day were being served again, sometimes in a different form, for example as a casserole.
Regarding meat, apart from chicken and pork prepared in various ways, there was almost no other variety – there were no other types of meat and practically no fish dishes.
The selection of salads was also very disappointing, and most of them were not tasty. For me, the beetroot salad was the only one that was acceptable.
The presentation, quality, and variety of the food simply do not meet the expectations of a long-established 5-star hotel.
Breakfast
Breakfast was only average. For example, omelets were not prepared to order, which in my opinion is not acceptable for a 5-star hotel.
The coffee machines were also not of the expected standard, and on some occasions the food was not hot enough.
Food rating: 4 from 10.
Overall
I would like to emphasize that the room was excellent, the spa was good, and the fitness center was very good. The hotel definitely has significant strengths.
However, the food is a major issue that needs to be addressed seriously. The quality, variety, temperature, and presentation of the food are, in my opinion, simply not appropriate for a 5-star hotel.
The main area that needs improvement: the food – urgently.
Despite the excellent room, good spa facilities, and very good fitness center, because of our food experience throughout the entire week, my overall rating for the hotel is 7 from 10.
I hope the hotel management will take this feedback seriously and make improvements, because in my opinion, this hotel has the potential to provide a significantly higher level of service and experience.

Needs room renovation
Nice and quiet location. Rooms need renovation urgently. Old furniture. Hard beds. Pillows not comfortable. Not enough light in bathroom. Very old hairdryers. Spa and pools good but overcrowded. In the restaurant for breakfast: just a few tables inside, if you dont find one,you should go in terrace where smoking is allowed. Staff friendly.

During our stay, I felt that we are extra in the hotel, that we are bothering them, not paying their wages.
Lack of customer centricity.
A hotel with a feeling of 3-4 stars: breakfast felt alike 3 stars hotel. Dinner close to 4 stars hotel. Reception, and pool personnel, totally not for services: played with their phone, unable to speak English, not customer centric at all, again. Rooms are very nice, a bit old in bathroom, but definitely nice. Room keepers are nice. At the bar there is no safety ruls: picked up to dice my lemon with bear hand, after drop it in my glass; I did the waiter job all the time, pooring in my glass what we order (water, beer, Prosecco) - of purse there was no tips for them.
Definetly not a 5 star food and services.

Beautiful hotel on the outskirts of town.
Beautiful hotel on the outskirts of town surrounded by greenery. We were here for the Bulgarian Cycling Tour with the world champion Olaf Ludwig. The hotel has adapted perfectly to the cyclists and offers outstanding service. All recreational facilities such as sauna. Pool Thermal water is available.
