Jan ski and snowboarding trip

First of all, the friendship shown to me by the owner and fellow guests was/is amazing. I'm here atm. As a solo traveller absolute value for money. Close to town centre and bus station for commute to borovets at 1.5 lev . I'm here for 3 weeks and as close to home from home, so chilled and free and easy. Kitchen can get busy when lots of ppl staying but. I have been invited to share the table as if family by fellow guests it made my feel part of their family. Talk chat don't be shy and Bulgarian families make you so welcome .
Laundry service great, 5 lev for a single load. Rooms serviced regularly and have wanted for nothing.
It is safe secure and what ever your needs they will try to fulfill. I like this place.

Good central spot, comfortable room, equipped shared kitchen

Easy going is the first word that comes to my mind. The owner that let me in, immeditately showed and explained me everything. Room was good, bed was very good, Wifi as well. It's a guesthouse, so a shared (big) equipped kitchen and a smoking spot just outside the kitchen. All is there, clean, relaxed and easy going. i would certainly recommend this spot. Worth the low amount of money!

Cozy and Friendly at the Skirts of Rila

It's one of the nicest places I've visited in a tourist area.
9km away from the sky slopes, my partner and I had a wonderful time with the kind and hospitable owners Aleks and Anya.
The place is very clean, warm, cozy, offers a lot of comfort and a shared kitchen where one can cook or order tasty breakfast.
It is possible to store ski equipment and have your pet with you.
Only thing which was not ideal was the parking in the yard. When the hotel is full you can't really park without blocking someone. On the other hand, the parking space outside is free and the town is safe, so I just kep my car outside. No trouble there.
Overall, it's been an amazing place to stay for the vacation on the slopes - wonderful environment, hospitable owners and tame prices.

Nice family run guesthouse near the town center

Alex and his wife Annie were the perfect hosts in a wonderful, quiet (I was there in off-season) guesthouse only a five minute walk from the bus station in town. Supermarkets, restaurants and the town center were only a few minutes walk away. Even the nearby hills offered some nice light hiking. I liked the place so much and since it was off-season it was an ideal, quiet place to stay a week and get some writing done.
The en suite single room had a TV with multiple channels, a wardrobe and plenty of chairs and nightstands on which to put things.
The mattress was comfortable and there were extra blankets in the room if it felt chilly.
A fully functional kitchen was downstairs and strong WIFi could be found everywhere in the guesthouse.
Seemed like there was guest parking at the property.
Alex speaks English and German and his wife knows a few words of English, but there was never a problem with communication.

Excellent

Situated in the very center of Samokov.. The accommodation itself provides all the basic comforts you would need - each room has its own bathroom with hot water, there is also a shared kitchen with everything you need. Very clean and tidy. Aleks himself is a charming and witty host who makes you feel very welcome throughout your stay and goes to great lengths to provide comfort for his guests. Feel free to ask him for a recommendation on where to go for a bite or a drink, all the places he recommended were great! He can also arrange for other services such as ski/board equipment hire, transfers, breakfast, etc. Would definitely go back and also recommend it.
