Great boat ride.

Amazing boat ride. We went more because of the boat ride. Day use with lunch included, that could have more options of fish, we expected more options. The price of the day use is not cheap, R$380 per person, but was included lunch and a boat ride of 1 hour duration. The Macaquins were also the feeling of the day.

Paradise for nature lovers

Very nice hotel complex, summary room but we do not come for this. Immersion in nature with several excursions possible. Beautiful pool to cool off.

Great location & facilities in the wild

Unique friendly hotel out in the country. Expect no facilities around the hotel, so everything is arranged by the staff. Clean rooms, friendly staff, nice activities and lots of animals around. Food is good, daily buffets. Bring good (DEET) mosquito repellent! But that helps in the whole Pantanal. Compared to i.e. pousado pantanal mota grosso the Rio Claro is a much better option.

Great experience

The pousada is very well located, right on the river. You can see a lot of birds. The food is great. Very wide selection. Staff very friendly.

Good hotel with lots of nature

This was booked as part of our Pantanal tour. The hotel had a good layout with a pool area and plenty of places to sit, hammocks, and lots of animals around the hotel. Accommodation is basic with a modest room but with everything you need, expect for drinking water which you must either bring with you or purchase from the bar. There is a fridge/freezer provided if you bring any drinks or snacks with you. All meals are buffet style with a reasonable selection. Pack your bug spray as there are mozzies everywhere, especially at dawn/dusk.
