Simple and very good guesthouse

Simple but very cosy guesthouse!!! Nice bed, air conditioning, simple breakfast but very tasty!!!!!
Not to mention the location, very close to the historic center, to various restaurants and close to the city centre TB!!

Horrible Guest House

The guesthouse has nothing to do with the photos on the site or with the three-star rating. Nor is it in the historic center as announced. A star would be well given. Nothing else. They put me in a room with a broken window and ants in bed. I asked for another room because my daughter couldn't sleep in a bed full of biting ants. My daughter is allergic. I couldn't get another room. I asked to cancel the reservation I made through hotels.com, due to the poor conditions of the room. They denied the refund of the two paid days. I had to look for another hotel and pay counter fare. The owners of the Contos guesthouse treated me badly, refused my cancellation request and the return of what I paid for the stays, in addition to the hotel owner having told me who guaranteed that it would not have been me who put the ants in the bed.
I didn't go to Paraty to bother me. The guesthouse is awful. ants besides biting, they're dirty. It's a lack of hygiene.
Get out of this hostel! There are much better hotels with fewer stars in Paraty. I don't know who rated this place with 3 stars. Disappointing!

I do not recommend

I would like to express my dissatisfaction with my recent stay at the Pousada. The breakfast was very simple, with few options, and the space for the meal was tight, which made the experience uncomfortable. In addition, the rooms are very close to each other, which resulted in a lot of noise during the night, with guests coming and talking out loud, which made rest difficult.
Another negative point was the attention. We arrived at 6:00, due to the schedule of our bus, and, despite the rain, we were poorly received by the employee, who informed us strictly that we could not enter the room before the scheduled time, just leave the bags and leave. We proposed to pay a fee to anticipate the entry that we had already combined via WhatsApp, and after some resistance, the employee contacted the owner, who authorized the entry and payment of the fee.
Based on these points, I cannot recommend the guesthouse. The experience was frustrating and left to be desired both in the care and infrastructure.

A good choice of Inn

Well located Inn, close to the historic center with parking. Friendly service and no sophistication.Good breakfast. A little small rooms with air conditioning and wifi.
For Paraty is a good option away from the bustle of the historic city

A very nice Inn

Comfortable Inn, with rooms with good size and no sophistication but well equipped, close to the Historic Center. Good manja cafe with kind and polite service. I think it's a good option for Paraty. It is worth it if it is with moderate price.
