I loved the lodging
Cozy, nice, clean room, delicious and punctual breakfast, hot bath. The view without words, exciting. Sleeping with the noise of the waterfall has no price!

Excellent central location with a view over the village river and cascade.
Check-in wasn’t so smooth. I never expect a hotel to offer me what wasn’t advertised and at the same time I don’t tolerate receiving a room where the things that were advertised upon booking, are broken or malfunctioning. The room’s window was massively crooked allowing a ton of insects to enter the room, the shower was too cold and after a 4-day hike in the mountains with only cold showers and a bad throat, a hot shower was all I needed and craved at this stage, and the bathroom sink wouldn’t drain properly, and was quite small so it filled up rather quickly. 3 basic things that should have been dealt with before renting the room out. I complained and after negotiation they changed me to the room upstairs where everything was functioning properly. But why rent out a room that is initially meant to be identical to the room upstairs and yet, it has most basic features malfunctioning?
On a more positive note, the staff were lovely (although the evening shift lady was a little too irritable for a clumsy check-in procedure) and the breakfast included is delivered in a basket to your room which was very enjoyable.

RELAXING NIGHTS BY THE SOUND OF THE WATER
Inn in the center, well located, close to everything, excellent service, everything very clean, comfortable bed, air conditioning working well, nights sleep to the sound of the waters of the stream that passes in front of the room, very varied and delicious breakfast, served in a basket inside the room from where we enjoyed the view of the stream, kitchen staff and cleanliness top notch, in addition to what comes in the coffee basket it is also possible to order eggs, tapioca and couscous. I will return as soon as I can, I highly recommend the inn. I stayed in room 01, from the 11th to the 16th of January 2024.

We spend 5 days in Lençois, visiting the beautiful Chapada Diamantina National park.
Pousada Grisante is central located in the Lençois town at 800 meter from the bus station with view of the river. Staying at the bridge You can so the Pousada at the other side of the river. It's 5 min walk to the central quare with the restaurants and eateries, bars, shops. Sleeping with the music of the waterfall is a great experiance. We made our visits with the Guide named "Puma". He speeks fluent Englisch as wel as French. Born in Salvador but looking for the natur and the calm and peaseful outlet of Lençois. A real natur lover that knows this please realy good. he is free lance guide for the UK H2O travel office. We only can strongly recommand him. Os funcionários foram bastante solícitos. Mas o quarto era muito ruim. A cama é muiiiiiito dura e desconfortável. Os travesseiros também. Cheguei muito cansado de viagem e tive muito desgosto.
A localização é muito boa, o barulho da cachoeira é sensacional, mas para o preço que paguei, esperava muito mais conforto.
O café da manhã vai no quarto, nada de mais, pouca variedade, uma cesta pequena. Um familiar ficou em outra pousada, um pouco mais distante, porém, muito mais confortável e bem mais barato.
Pra essa eu não voltaria e não indico para ninguém. Só passei uma noite e fui para outro lugar.
