Super advised

Great structure, beautiful pool, super breakfast and an excellent position in front of the beach in the Beira-mar of Fortaleza. The staff working at the hotel and in the reception are also super kind and available.

**Great location, but the overall experience fell short of expectations

Great location, but the overall experience fell short of expectations
The location is excellent, very close to Beira-Mar, and both the room and cleanliness were very good. The vast majority of the staff were also extremely polite, welcoming and helpful.
However, I stayed at the hotel for almost two weeks and, unfortunately, some aspects made the experience less positive than I expected — especially considering that I was in Fortaleza for my wedding and approximately 16 of my guests, who had travelled from overseas, were also staying at the hotel.
My overall impression was that the hotel has quite a rigid set of policies. None of my early check-in requests could be accommodated, while late check-outs were only possible for an additional fee. For the first five days, I also paid in full for an upgrade to a sea-view suite. For the remaining days, I was given an upgrade to a pool-view room, but I had to change rooms three times because of a strong mouldy smell. This also seemed to be an issue affecting other guests, not just myself.
I also experienced a situation where housekeeping entered the room without knocking while people were still inside. I believe this is something that should be addressed more carefully.
Considering that we had a large group staying at the hotel, I expected a little more flexibility or special consideration. I requested, for example, a discount on parking for the group, but unfortunately nothing was offered. The group discount available when booking directly through the hotel website was also only applicable to the non-refundable rate. If you selected the refundable option, the price was the standard rate.
The hotel did help me with some of the small gifts I had arranged for my overseas guests, which was very helpful and something I genuinely appreciated. However, I had initially considered leaving these items in the guests’ rooms and was informed that there would be a R$30 fee for each room entry. I found this charge unexpected and difficult to understand, particularly given the circumstances of a wedding and a large group staying at the hotel.
Another example was the R$250 fee related to a makeup and wedding dress trial. I had considered having the trial at the hotel, but ultimately decided to change the location specifically because of this fee. Given the circumstances and the number of guests we had staying at the hotel, I found the lack of flexibility disappointing.
Another issue that left me uncomfortable was receiving an additional charge after I had already checked out and settled my bill. Apparently, it related to charges from previous dates that had not been billed at the time. Since I had already completed my check-out and paid everything, I found this confusing and, frankly, quite unusual.
On my final day, after paying for a late check-out, I arranged with a staff member that I would leave my luggage in one of my guests’ rooms and quickly return after moving the car. When I came back, the staff member responsible was reluctant to open the door and spoke to me quite rudely, asking, “Who did you speak to?” and telling me that I only had 15 minutes. If there is a specific procedure, I completely understand, but it should be clearly communicated and, most importantly, properly aligned internally between the staff.
Even some small details contributed to the overall feeling. As a wedding gesture, we received two coconuts and two pieces of cake, which was a nice gesture and appreciated, although quite modest considering the circumstances and the number of guests we had staying there. Also, the coffee capsules in the room were charged separately at R$8 each. I found this particularly disappointing, as in many hotels coffee capsules provided in the room are complimentary.
Overall, my experience was not negative because of the staff’s general attitude — most of them were genuinely lovely. The main issue was the lack of flexibility, some communication problems, and hotel policies that made the stay more complicated than it needed to be. I understand that many of these situations may be related to hotel policies rather than individual staff members.
The location is truly excellent and the hotel certainly has its positives. However, considering the overall experience, I personally would not choose to stay here again.

A hotel that must have been nice…

Aging hotel. We had a room with a view of the parking lot that seemed old with outdated furniture. The staff does not speak English and is quickly overwhelmed. The hotel must have been nice a few years ago, but it deserves a complete modernization.
The restaurant is just okay. Just like the breakfast.

It was a great experience.

The hotel is very well located to do a lot of things walking, the service was great many young people working in the hotel and educated.
My niece was making birthday sent a cake and a very cute birthday card, she loved. The pool is good the drinks of the bar too.l, the breakfast buffet wonderful, many varieties they make tapioca and omelet at the time had a part with bread , yogurt and other things for those who have lactose intolerance. You have a bike to take a walk on the beach at no cost.
The not so good part is with respect to the room when we arrived clearly has a mould smell, the bathroom with water leak that I believe leak from the box, another thing the floor sometimes gets wet that seems to me infiltration, maybe the reason for the smell. The bed is good the bed linen was clean and the towels whenever necessary changed.
I loved the stay and would definitely come back.
