For that money
No complaints. Staff where nice and helpfull. No one knew any english but managed to do ok with google translate. Hotel is quite new i think so a few of them rooms is still under construction. Aug 2015.
Inner areas are small but new painted. So where the rooms. Small rooms but clean and with a new touch. Small minibar that is filled up if u ask for it. Tv AC and ok beds.
This is a budget pousada and for that money 4 stars.
Walking distance to Busstation.
Its at the border to a area of the city said to be dangerous. Nothing ever happend to me walking there every evening. But it's like always in Brazil be careful dont bring to much valuables. Or when dark always take a taxi.

No place while we had booking confirmantion
We booked the hotel on quite short notice via Booking.com but we got a confirmation so everything looked good. When we arrived at the hotel we found a receptionist who couldn't speak English, so with Google translate we understood that they didn't have anything about our booking and they where full. After making a couple of calls the owner seemed to have another hotel close by where we could stay the night. After arriving there another guy who couldn't speak English showed our rooms and started a discussion about the payment. We weren't sure whether we already had paid via Booking.com so we agreed to discuss it with the manager the following day. We then agreed on everything but it costed a lot of energy while we had a confirmed booking and they didn't apologize or anything like that about all the hassle

Basic hotel, not in the best area of the city
We arrived late at night and luckily had transport pre-arranged to and from the hotel as we were en route to the Pantanal. It was located in what seemed to be a bit of a sketchier area of the city but was securely gated so we were comfortable once inside. 24/7 reception was a plus as we arrived late at night.
The rooms were very basic but they had weird coloured lights in each of them - red or blue. Which makes you wonder what happens in there...Some of the towels were pretty worn down and one was actually branded with another hotel's name and then had the Pousada Dubai written in permanent marker above the original branding. Entertaining to say the least.
The room was very basic, the bathroom was spacious but the shower drained right into the floor. We had one of those small clear/white lizards in the bathroom but the guy at reception removed it for us. There were some tiny barely visible ants in the room but this is pretty common for any place we stayed in Brazil.
Breakfast was quite good. Overall fine if you're just overnighting en route to the Pantanal but not recommended for a longer stay. And even then, you probably have better places to choose from at that price!

O lugar surpreende pela localização, MAS NÃO EMITEM NFE
O lugar é muito aconchegante, bem localizado, os preços bem convidativos e o café da manhã excepcional. PROVEM O CAFÉ COM LEITE! Porém, como tudo tem seu preço, todos esses atributos positivos acabam caindo por terra quando partimos para o atendimento que poderia ser melhor muito melhor, não vou lembrar de nomes agora, mas a gerente do lugar deixa muito a desejar, principalmente pelo tom prepotente em sua fala que a impede de ser mais flexível e acolhedora com as necessidades dos hospedes. No meu caso o dilema principal foi a respeito de uma NFE que ficou de ser emitida no dia do check out e até hoje não chegou em minha caixa de e-mail. Como a viagem era a negócios precisávamos comprovar nossos gastos o que foi explicado a ela diversas vezes por telefone e sempre tínhamos sua antipatia como resposta, cansado de tanta humilhação deixei para que a boa vontade fizesse efeito, sem sucesso.
Se sua escolha for somente custo barato a pousada é para você, caso contrário, avalie outro local.

Mais ou Menos
O atendimento poderia ter sido melhor, por parte da comunicação dos funcionários, e a localização não é legal, o restante foi bom , e o café da manhã é muito bacana, fiz uma viagem rápida mas aproveitei todo o quarto que me deram.
