Disappointment
Attention! I was at this Pousada on the last weekend of July 2023 and unfortunately, I ended up forgetting personal toiletries in the suite bathroom. Upon arriving in Rio de Janeiro and realizing the shortage, I contacted them immediately, and was only attended to the following day, when they showed willingness to return my items (shampoo/gel and a brush) via the Post Office, as long as I covered the costs. , which is perfectly reasonable.
After nine days, without any initiative from the Pousada to inform them of the refund actions (first they said they did not have an address - when this was stated in the accommodation form - and then, they did not have time to go to the post office) they finally went to the Correios da Cidade, when they were denied shipping because they were liquids (notably a total lack of experience, as they took the items in a plastic bag so that the Post Office could sort out the packaging in the box, etc.). They "forgot" that there was a brush among the items.
When they returned to the Pousada, they informed me via Whatsapp audio that they were not going to return it because it was liquid. I then asked for at least the brush to be returned. When I received the answer (via audio) that they weren't going to "spend more gas and cars" to go back to the Post Office (remembering the size of the city of Conservatória) and when I returned to Conservatória, I had to go there and get everything.
Very pettiness and total lack of care for a Customer. If you know what Customer Care is, given the things I witnessed during my stay.
Believe me, that's what I heard loud and clear, through an audio on Whatsapp from the Inn's Owner - Mrs. Helena. A horror show and lack of education, and conditions of being in charge of an enterprise that provides services.
And she added in the audio that they will not be responsible for anything else that is forgotten at the Inn because they don't have time to do that kind of thing.
Be warned: Be careful! Pousada D'Amora has stopped in time, whether in the cleaning of its rooms, the crockery stored in questionable cabinets and to top it off, the Truculent, Disrespectful Service that takes possession of other people's belongings without any scruples!
