Very good, 1 minus

Very good hotel, stopover to Portugal. Good beds, rich breakfast, restaurant fine, not expensive and very friendly service.
In short, highly recommended.
One flaw: when we arrived the friendly girl at the desk said: do you want an upgrade? I told her we had been married for 40 years and wanted to ask if there was a gesture from the hotel for this anyway. My husband said, "I want to show you my wedding ring, if you don't believe us." No need, she said.
We got a room on the ground floor with a mini garden.
When we checked out, the same friendly girl said: that's 10 euros for the upgrade. I told her she didn't say that at all. Never mentioned an amount we had to pay extra.
10 euros is not a lot right now, but he is about the principle. We thought: how nice of the hotel. No, I don't.
This needs to be better communicated. Not 5 stars, but 4 and that's why.

Lack of respect for women!!!

I stayed at the hotel with my fiancé on the night of 26/04/2025. I was well served at check-in, but when we arrived in the room we saw that the frigobar was not filled. My fiancé went down to get some drinks and when he was served again at the reception he heard the following phrase from the receptionist: “The night will be good hein?!”, referring to my person, And suddenly my fiancé responded the time to the lack of respect on the part of the receptionist. Unfortunately I did not save the name of the same, if I would not like to mention it here. I kept this story for 2 months, but as a woman, I felt extremely offended and disrespected, because I am not a GB, nor did I see or portray myself as one. And regardless of who she is, every woman deserves to be respected!!! Thus, I come here to expose such a situation in such a traditional hotel of the city of Betim which does not select and did not instruct its employees to respect their guests, especially women. I will not stay in the same anymore and I wish that my account would serve so that other women do not go through the same as me. Lamentável!

Beautiful hotel overlooking the town of Burgos

Beautiful Hotel, ideally located at the top of the city. The rooms are spacious, well equipped and the bedding is soft and comfortable. Staff attentive. The breakfast offers enough choice and quality. Convenient parking. The only downside would be the swimming pool which is disappointing compared to the photos.

The use of cigarettes should be prohibited on hotel premises.

As for the staff, a 10. The problem I had at the hotel is the use of cigarettes by certain guests. And for non-smokers, it's difficult. Even though there are no smoking notices, they smoke in the rooms or on the windows and the bad smell stays in the corridors and ends up entering neighboring rooms. It is a hotel where the vast majority of guests are men, who stay while working at local companies.

A clean and comfortable hotel in the center of town. Valquíria at the reception desk was amazing and gave us a perfect room with a huge colorful sunset from our window each evening.
