Great location

Rating based on location & service as our room was very basic but we weren’t bothered!
Very close to the water, a beach & bars, shops & restaurants.

Warm and Welcome Stay!

We had a truly lovely stay at Alan’s Paradise Hotel. The people and hospitality were absolutely top notch - warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive from start to finish.
We stayed in a queen ocean-view room which was comfortable, clean, and well set up. It had kitchenette which we found very convenient. Having the dock right there was a huge plus, and the on-site restaurant made everything feel easy and relaxed. The food was very good throughout our stay.
We also loved having access to the kayaks, and it was great to have bikes available as an option too, though town is such a short and easy walk that we didn’t need to use them.
Overall, a wonderful place to stay. Comfortable, clean, great location, and made special by the amazing people who own the hotel and those who work there. We will happily be back to stay! Thank you - Mehgan and Fam

A little piece of Paradise in Placencia

Ok, so I’ve been coming to Placencia for almost two decades. Mostly I stay on a boat but occasionally when I stay on land, I stay at Alan’s Paradise. Here’s why:
Pros:
- always clean, rooms, restaurant, little beach and entire area.
- Alan and Delores are lovely as are all the staff. They are willing to go out of their way, in every way, to make your stay relaxing and comfortable.
- Food - breakfast at Paradise is perfect, beachfront, no bugs and just so relaxing. Lunch and dinner good also but I like to try places in town to get a variety of flavour.
- very peaceful and quiet, reiterating no bugs and calm waves lapping the small shoreline
- because this hotel faces the harbour it is much quieter than the sea facing side, also no sargassum here if it’s that time of year.
- office will help you with excursions, golf cart rentals and everything you might need
- cute little leave one take one library at the office
- very close to grocery stores, restaurants etc.
- kayaks available
- very safe area and added security - extra door with lock to get up to rooms.
Cons:
- some rooms are small with very small windows but also very affordable.
- rooms have fridge but not all rooms have microwave and coffee
- I recommend room 10 which has a huge balcony, ocean view, microwave, coffee maker and very comfortable bed.
- some pillows are hard but I brought my own

The worst breakfast in Placencia.

Worst over-priced breakfast in the Village. They couldn't even splurge for a real flour tortilla or a slice of fruit on the plate for the 'McMuffin'. Dry, tasteless, $16US. Never again.

three nights of Bliss one night of ugh.

we stayed in an ocean room on the second floor, the first two nights, and it was absolutely amazing. The view the balcony of the room everything we had to switch to a lower room on our final night due to booking, and the room was overfilled with furniture and you could hear every door slam every footsteps so if you’re gonna stay there and get an oceanfront and be on the second floor
