Nice little B&B

Lovely little quirky B&B. Kind of worn but the staff and owner were great helping us with transportation and advice. Good breakfast. Easy walk to Smokees for lunch or dinner plus easy walk to a grocery store for essentials. We spent 2 nights prior to a week long sailing trip out of Placencia. It’s a 20 min cab ride to the city. Cabs are cheap and the driver we had (Cinderi) was friendly and reliable. There was a sitting pool in the back-not hot like a hot tub but warm enough to relax in and comfortable for 4 people.

Just not really worth it. Staff are great, breakfast is real good, even the owner is nice. But, super expensive for where and what it is. Pictures somehow make it all feel bigger even though they’re accurate. Neighborhood is bleak, and the few restaurants in the area happened to be closed all week for Easter.

Restful Oasis

We stayed at Villa Boscardi for one night. It was a perfect place to land and get acclimated after a long day of travel from the US. The room was comfortable and well appointed. The pool area made a great place to relax. There were restaurant options in easy walking distance. A delicious breakfast was provided. The staff and owner were very friendly and responsive to our (many) questions. They arranged day tour for us that we throughly enjoyed. Will look to stay there again if we return to Belize. Highly recommended.

The room was clean and ready for us, the grounds are lovely and staff is very friendly and accommodating. We will return.

Everything about this place was amazing! The room was immaculate and the a/c was perfect, especially since the heat was strong. We had breakfast ever and it was delicious. Close walk to a good restaurant and the grocery store. You will need to walk a good ways to get to town, recommend a taxi. Villa Boscardi is in a safe neighborhood so don’t worry about walking around.
Highly recommend!
