Enjoying green surroundings, Chatelet Cremers is housed in an old mansion at the edge of Verviers-Heusy. This bed and breakfast provides guests with eating facilities, a garden with a terrace and free access to WiFi.

Wonderful B&B
Our room was very big on the top floor of a country house. Main bed is huge with a sofa bed in the adjoining lounge with an infra sauna in the corner.
We enjoyed a three course local menu which was delicious along with a lovely red wine.
A leisurely breakfast the next morning has set us up nicely for the rest of our trip.
Thank you to the hosts for their wonderful hospitality

Never again!
We arrived earlier than expected at this lodge (it's true, an unexpected event can happen). The gate was open, we rang the doorbell, walked around the building, and waited for a while. The place seemed deserted. With 35 degrees, we allowed ourselves to go into the pool for a moment to cool off from the unbearable heat.
After a while, a young girl came to ask us who we were. We calmly explained the situation. In the meantime, we could hear the owner on the phone, very upset and shouting. We only encountered her when we were leaving: she didn't even speak to us!
She mentioned her dog making noise and her daughter needing to study for her exams... except it turned out that her daughter was not in exams but actually on vacation, she told us this in person. It mainly gives me the impression that a reason had to be found to make us leave.
What is unfortunate is that with a minimum of kindness, I would have apologized immediately and left, probably even a bit ashamed for having taken that initiative. But being welcomed this way, as if we were intruders, when we had made a reservation, is simply shocking.
... After that, we also noted the general condition of the premises: very average maintenance, dirt, dirty windows, poorly kept exterior, damaged tiles around the pool... broken bricks in the courtyard... A pool and a beautiful building are not enough to make a good lodge.
Tourist accommodation is also a matter of welcome and respect. And on this point, the experience was a huge disappointment.
I will never return there and I advise against this place to those who are looking for a spot where they will truly feel welcome!

Worth repeating, hospitable and friendly
But the hostess… great!! If you book a room there, entertainment is guaranteed, especially if you include dinner! Delicious 'folk cuisine' with local regional products and 3 hours of dining with the necessary 'misunderstandings' at the other tables that were elegantly pushed under the table by the hostess.
All in all very hospitable!!!

Charming B&B
They are currently building a swimming pool that should be ready by this summer :)
Breakfast is good and Chantal and her husband are lovely and helpful. We also had dinner there and the food was excellent.
The owners have a cute dog so if you like dogs go and cuddle her :D
Absolutely recommended!
