Only stayed one night to see the football , hotel was good and staff were very helpful. A long walk to the station or city centre but a bus stop close by.

Breakfast is too early 6am is 7.30am, the room also had a smell to it, also I had a problem and got stuck out of my room, which was dealt in a surreal way. I stay in hundreds of hotels per year and this was definitely one of my worst experiences.

Get out during the blossom period

Positive: Extensive breakfast with lots of choice and friendly service - large parking lot with little noise pollution despite being located on a busy road - very good bed and hot shower. Free WiFi and short distance to St-Truiden.
What was disappointing was the absence of an evacuation plan in both the room/corridor - the hygiene: cobwebs in the corners and a lot of dust on the radiator, not ideal for allergies - small TV whose picture often disappeared - absence of kettle / drinking water to have something to eat in between .

Property is fantastic, especially the lobby is like a modern art gallery, very lovely family running the hotel, kind, welcoming, chatty and very polite.
The only point for me, there is no fridge or caffe or tea machine in the room, although there is one in lobby,
Also for families with young children, there was some business around that may be not pleasant, to be seen by children.
There us a big shopping store next to hotel which is nice.
