Another top-notch reception!

As usual, Mr. Debus and his team demonstrated professionalism, both in their welcome, availability, meal quality, pricing, and respect for our requests. We were there with different groups in July, August 2025, and June 2026. Never any unpleasant surprises. This is a reliable address and highly recommended! Thank you

The hotel wasn't anything like described. The bar, restuarant, garden and terrace were all closed.
But there are a couple of local restaurants nearby.
The stairs up to our room were very tight. So it would be very difficult to use a large suitcase. Our room was half renovated. The bathroom was quite roomy and looked nice. But the flush on the toilet broke and there was no one to report it to. A small part fell off the shower while I was using it. A hairdryer was provided, but it was fixed so far up the wall , that I found it hard to use.
There was a new wardrobe
but the door ,shelves and mirror hadn't been secured ,so it was very dangerous, and unusable. They didn't provide any hangers. Therefore we had nowhere to put our clothes.
On the plus side. We had free use of the coffee machine downstairs. The hotel was in a very good location and the beds were extremely comfortable.
The hotel has a lot of potential . We found it expensive for what was offered at this time.

Ok, given that it was ”cheap” (would you consider 104€ for 1 night, 2 breakfasts and 2 dogs in November cheap?) guess it was ok. At least it was relatively clean, apart from mold in the shower. Other than that it was far from photos on the Hotels.com website. Cold & OLD

Ghost restaurant

We, my husband and I, planned a weekend in the Philippeville area. Online we booked a table for 2 people for the Friday night, our first evening there. We had read that there was a three course menu available. We received confirmation of the reservation. The pictures on the website showed that fancy parties were also given.
We arrive on time and find a dated, poorly maintained building. That was disappointing. We're looking for the entrance. On the door is a paper that says that you have to give at least the day in advance what you will eat???? We have never experienced!!! There was also an arrow pointing to the entrance at the end of the car park. We go around, but don't see an entrance anywhere there either. It looks even more deserted and sheltered there.
We get a very uncomfortable feeling and decide to leave! NEVER AGAIN!!!
