A calm, clean hotel with many advantages.

From the entrance, one understands that it will be a pleasant stay: the cleanliness of the premises, the welcome, and the possibility of having a good coffee or tea. The room is beautiful, as is the view. The impeccable bedding and the tranquility make this my reference point in Middelkerke.

Excellent location, right on the Seafront. Car park 2 min walk away.
Did not have breakfast but they offer free Coffee all day.
Rooms compact and adequate. Clean.
Staff very friendly!

Poor service even before you get there

Very disappointing experience with this hotel. We had booked a stay and were fully aware that cancellation was not possible. We respect that, too. Therefore, we only asked to move our date due to unforeseen circumstances.
We clearly indicated that we were willing to pay any additional fees, but the hotel showed no flexibility or understanding at all. Instead of thinking along or looking for a solution, we just got a dry “no” without any kind of customer focus.
This is not about cancelling, but simply changing dates — something that is perfectly negotiable at many hotels, especially when the customer is willing to pay extra.
This feels anything but professional and certainly not welcoming. Dealing with customers in this way ensures that we will definitely not book here in the future.
Not recommended if you value service and flexibility.

Sea view

We enjoyed a full breakfast and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was neat and equipped with all the necessary facilities such as body lotion, shower gel and shampoo, which is definitely a plus.
An extra socket in the room would not be a luxury. Now there was only one.
However, we were somewhat disappointed with the sea view. Although we paid extra for this, our room was at the rear of the hotel, which limited the sea view. Given the relatively high price for a room with sea view, we didn't find this quite proportionate. We had also called specifically to ask if there was really another room with sea view.
All in all a pleasant stay, but the aspect of the sea view could be communicated more clearly.
