Surrounded by nature & amazing breakfast

It was a great one night stop in our cycling trip. Place is super cosy, calm and well equipped, bathroom even had a hair drier! Though the rooms might seem to be small there is a lot of common space and nature, if You feel like exploring.
Breakfast was the best part of the whole stay! Such a nice variety of sweet and savoury choices. Great home made pies!

Quaint Cottage With A Quirk

Stayed at Le Clos Arbore for just one night, but it was a pleasant stay. The hosts were pleasant and warm, though most were not able to speak English - still, we were able to communicate mainly from body language.
The cottage itself is in the middle of the countryside, making it a quaint place. The living room had a live fireplace which is always nice to have especially in winter. Breakfast was nice with cheeses, croissants, jams and juices.
My main complaint is the bathroom. Since the top floor was built near the roof, the edges of the room and the bathroom have low ceiling as the roof slides diagonally down - see my pictures to gain a better understanding. As such, when you bathe, you'll either have to sit by the side of the bathtub or bend down which is hard on one's back.
Overall, a nice option to stay in the Belgian countryside. :)

Lovely place, nice people. Great breakfast

Just a one night stop off here on our journey home but I wish we'd had longer to stay. We were warmly welcomed by the hosts. We had a double room with an adjoining room with bunks, which was perfect for our family. A small but perfectly-formed bathroom stood in between the two rooms. The shared loo was in the corridor. It had a big shared kitchen and lounge area, with lovely countryside views and plenty of parking. The continental breakfast was delicious - the pains au chocolat and croissants were some of the best I've ever had and the hosts were happy to accommodate my kids' fussy requests for different types of juice. All in all, a lovely place and within fairly easy reach of the motorway.

Newly opened, genial hosts, good value for money

This is a newly opened guest house, freshly decorated in country style. It has spacious shared kitchen and living room facilities, which we didn't need as it was a short stay, but would have been very useful if we'd been staying longer. The room was small, which was fine for the single night we stayed and there was a bathroom in the room, although the toilet was along the corridor. There was a problem with the heating in our room, which the hosts tried to fix but weren't able to on the night. Fortunately the bedclothes in the room was warm and we weren't too chilly and to make up for it, we were given a fun ride on the flight simulator at the on-site flight, which was a nice way of making things right. The breakfast, included in the price, was abundant and good quality. All in all, good value for money

Gîte charmant dans un cadre magnifique

Ce n’est apparemment plus une chambre d’hôtes mais un gîte. Maison typique en pierre, spacieuse, lumineuse, bien équipée. Un jardin agréable, les pieds dans l’eau, vue magnifique, avec tout le confort pour passer un superbe séjour.
