Luxury, History, and Incredible Hospitality

Quay 17 was one of the highlights of our trip to Bruges. The restoration of this historic building is exceptional—they’ve beautifully preserved its character while creating luxurious, spacious, and incredibly comfortable accommodations. Our room was immaculate, the air conditioning worked perfectly (a huge plus during our stay), and the elevator made traveling with luggage effortless.
Hans and Julie are outstanding hosts who truly elevate the experience. They took the time to share the history of both the building and Bruges, offered personalized recommendations on what to see, and even helped with reservations when needed. Their hospitality made us feel genuinely welcome.
Breakfast each morning was delicious, and one of the most unique touches was being able to enjoy their own house beer, along with a great selection of other local beers available on site.
The location is ideal—peacefully tucked away from the busiest tourist crowds while still being just a short walk to all of Bruges’ major sights.
We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and are already looking forward to returning. Highly recommend Quay 17 to anyone visiting Bruges!

Fabulous Place

Perfectly located, beautifully presented and a stunning renovation of a seriously historic property. The patrons have respectfully brought the building back to life and should be proud.. Highly recommend!

Perfect stay!

This is an amazing place to stay! Rooms were spotless and beautifully decorated. Perfect location for us - close enough to the centre but peaceful at night. Breakfast was the best - home baked treats and delicious eggs! Highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bruges.

The best B&B in Bruge, can’t to wait come back.

The location and rooms were one of a kind experience that preserved the architectural history, coupled with very spacious, clean and modern day accommodations . Hans & Julie were very personable and gave great recommendations on sight seeing and dining experiences. The reception area had a great selection of local beers along with the proper glass wear to enhance the aromas of the different type of beers. This B&B is must stay!
