Cozy hostel

Nice place right in the center, nice place under the hostel. nice cooperating persons and employees. Location is really perfect especially around Christmas with the Christmas market

The location is amazing!

The location is amazing! Very close to the Grote Markt! With that said, the noise will make the sleep terrible!
It was during a heat wave, and the open window didn´t help at all, so it would be nice with some AC of some kind!
There is breakfast, which is basic! The staff is there, but doesn´t check on the patrons much at all!

Terrible.

5th floor without an elevator, with steep and narrow stairs.
The colorful design and the view are nice, but sleeping in a room at 36 degrees with pillows stained with blood is a definite no.
Terrible.

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT SLEEP HERE!!!

Definitely don't sleep here and especially not as a woman!! This hostel is full of drunken male vagrants, it smells like weed and it feels anything but clean. There are benches in the hall on each floor, where men lie or hang out. Our school had booked a private room for us and we slept in a room with a number of girls. It started with two men harassing us in the toilet, one man deliberately turned off the lights and tried to get into our toilet cubicles by pulling on the door handles and trying to open the door. In the middle of the night, the exact same man stood in the middle of our private room. An hour after the toilet incident, when we were already sleeping, he entered our room through an emergency door (which apparently can only be opened from the outside, which we did not know) after he had seen which room we had entered after the toilet incident. toilet incident. When we saw this man standing in the middle of our dark room, we screamed and shouted for help out of great fear, but the hostel staff did nothing. The police came and the hostel staff said, “I didn't feel the need to look.” So we were not helped in any way by the staff, while it was really not okay that there was a drunk man in a private room full of sleeping girls.
Please do not book at this hostel, we have never felt so unsafe. It smelled like weed, we were treated poorly and not helped at all by the staff and the insecurity we experienced because of what happened means that I really don't recommend anyone to stay in this hostel!!
