Super hospitality and location

There were four of us in a suite. Plenty of space, clean, good breakfast, nice sauna area and games room and also right on the slopes. Super nice hoteliers as hosts, we would love to come back. Also in summer a good location.

Ski in/ski out this cozy for families/couples-family run hotel has it all!

Highly recommend - ultimate family friendly ski in n out holiday. Directly on the slopes with lg rooms, excellent breakfast and after ski spa facilities. Amazing food and close to other dining options and rentals within walking distance. Cozy in every respect + family owned/run.

Short-term, uncomplicated reservation by phone.
Everything was great, thanks to the friendly hosts.
Family run.
We slept very well and had a wonderful breakfast.

Perfect place to stay and ski

Great views on the Alps and slopes, the position of the hotel is excellent for ski in/out access to nearby lifts . Very warm and kind hospitality of the management - Family Lurzer, who are always very kind and helpfull. The facilities are excellent , nice sauna and infrared cabin. Comfortable and spacious holiday apartment thoroughly cleaned every day, well equipped kitchen.

Excellent venue for our short ski trip

We stayed at the Auerhahn Hotel & Apartments for a three night trip to Obertauern and were very pleased with the whole experience. We travelled as two groups of two people and we stayed in two separate apartments. These were very impressive. They are very large for two people (and would very comfortably accommodate a family of four), fitted out to a high standard, spotlessly clean, very comfortable and with impressive views over the mountains.
The position of the hotel is excellent for ski in/out access to nearby lifts which can take you to both sides of the resort. Beside the hotel there are a few nice restaurants, plus a ski hire shop. Reaching the main part of the village is a €12 taxi ride, or a 15 minute walk.
The breakfasts were very enjoyable and on one evening we had some good pizzas made freshly at the hotel. We ate out on other evenings and the hotel were happy to make recommendations and reservations for us.
All in all this was an excellent place to stay, run to a high standard by a very friendly and helpful family team.
