Cozy gasthof for couples

Me and my husband stayed here for one night. We also had our dogs with us. The room was really big and cozy. Breakfast was really good! We had a great stay. Good service and friendly staff. Perfect for a night of sleep :-) Thank you Gasthof Eschau.

Only for regulars and staff?!

There were four of us at the archery course as a family and afterwards we wanted to eat at the inn. There was no one there, all tables empty, inside and outside. When I went in to ask the waitress if there was anything to eat, she said a little unkindly, we should sit down one time, she would come with the card. We chose a table outside. After we had ordered drinks and food, a gentleman, obviously a regular, came and asked us if he could join us at the table. Of course I would. Then another person with an apron, obviously the cook, came along, also sat down and pushed our things aside. Another gentleman, who came by car, also sat down, unsolicited, and finally the waitress. Obviously we had sat down at the regular table ignorantly and were clearly in the way there. After drinks and soups, I paid, we said goodbye and went to another inn for main courses and desserts. I've rarely felt so unwelcome and misplaced anywhere. It's too bad. The soup was really fine in taste.

Awful rude

Stopped here for a quick rest. Tried to use the vending machine. When I told them it took my money the man actually yelled at me “What do you want from me?!!!!!!!”
Extremely rude and aggressive. Beware of asking for anything here. He wasn’t just verbally aggressive but also physically.

Best gasthof ever

It was located close to many activities. Even though i booked the wrong date they cancelled it for free even if they could charge us 43 £. Really nice breakfast and a cute dog walking around. Go here if you want a priceworthy gasthof with a Lovely staff. Good food aswell

Try out the camping!

We were on a canoe trip on Salza river and were accomodated in a camp that belongs to this "Gasthof" and is situated on a grassy meadow up the hill. The place was incredible with a breath-taking scenery of mountains around, very silent at night, the grass was really green and no stones to bother your back when sleeping.
There was a space to park our cars safely and the camp bathroom was clean and included warm water all the time. We also tried out the restaurant in the Gasthof, I've had a good Austrian beer and a schnitzel which was delicious. Staff and service was always fast and helpful. Couldn't be more satisfied!
