We are simply thrilled

We are simply thrilled, a warm welcome from the hostess made us feel at home immediately and we were given the best tips. The guesthouse is located a few meters from the Gaislachkogelbahn cable car, just cross a small wooden bridge and you are on your way to over 3000 meters for free, yes free because with the Ötztal Inside Summer Card many services are free. The breakfast was a poem, exactly how it should be. All in all a great three-day trip. Gladly again

Very welcoming

We stayed here for a week’s skiing. The rooms are impeccably clean and serviced daily. There was a balcony facing the ski slopes. The buffet breakfast had everything you need for a continental breakfast and cooked eggs were offered as well. One of the main ski gondolas is about 5 minutes walk away or 10 with your boots on! The location is great for a quiet stay in Solden.There is ski storage at the guest house. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend

Excellent value

Stayed here for 4 days of skiing in March 2022. It looks like it has recently had some renovations as it’s much nicer than the pictures on the website. It’s excellent value for money, really good breakfast, very quiet and has a cosy atmosphere. The couple who run it were brilliant, they could not have been more helpful, took great effort to advise and provide travel directions and asked a number of times if there was anything more I needed. It’s a superb place to stay.

Very average , clean and close to lift. Breakfast very minimal

Close to lift and rooms are clean however very small and old, has not been renovated for years . Breakfast was very poor , fruit salad was out of the box , did not offer scrambled eggs or omelette . Very disappointing .

Sehr geehrte Frau 558roxanac!
Das von ihnen sogenannte "schlechte Frühstücksbuffet" bestand aus folgenden Zutaten:
Ein nagelneuer Kaffeevollautomat aus dem Hause WMF, bei dem sie alle gängigen Frühstücksgetränke in sehr guter Qualität und so oft sie wollen holen können.
5 verschiedene Marmeladen, Honig, Nutella, 3 verschiedene Müsli, zwei verschiedene Obstsalat, Joghurt und Milch, zwei verschiedene Fruchtsäfte, harte und weiche Eier, frische Tiroler Milch und Butter, Semmel und Kornbrötchen sowie Hörnchen und Schwarzbrot, Nussschnecken und Schokorollen sowie abwechselnder Kuchen, 4 verschiedene Wurst / Schinken und 3 verschiedene Käsearten, dazu 3 verschiedene Streichkäsearten und Leberaufstrich, frische Gurken und Tomaten, frisches Obst (Äpfel, Kiwi, Bananen, Orangen, Mandarinen, …). Dieses Frühstück haben wir gerne für sie um 12.- Euro zubereitet, auf Nachfrage hätten wir ihnen auch gerne noch andere Wünsche erfüllt wie zum Beispiel ihre persönliche Brotsorte.
Was die Größe und Ausstattung der Zimmer betrifft, hatten sie ja die Möglichkeit diese vor der Buchung auf unserer Webseite anzusehen.
Die Fotos sind sehr aktuell vom Herbst 2019 und ich glaube nicht, dass die Zimmer so aussehen, wenn man diese längere Zeit nicht renoviert. Wir arbeiten laufend an unserer Pension und investieren was irgend möglich ist.
Es hat uns aber den Anschein, dass ihre schlechte Bewertung darauf zurück zu führen ist, dass wir keine Rühr- und Spiegeleier anbieten. In diesem Fall muss ich ihnen leider empfehlen, künftig eine wesentlich höhere Pensionskategorie zu buchen, diese wird sich allerdings sicher nicht im gleichen Preissegment bewegen.

Very convenient, money for value

Pros:
~only 5 mins walk to gondola of Solden ski resort, surprisingly convenient
~ clean and tidy
~ small but modern facilities for ski and boot storage
~ the size of the room is not big, but have everything needed, including a small stock and kitchen facilities
Cons:
~ no electric ventilator for cooking, so have to rely on tge ventilator of washroom and open window slightly
