This traditional, family-run hotel offers a quiet location at the edge of the pedestrian zone in the centre of Seefeld, only 150 metres away from the train station. Free Wi-Fi and free private parking is offered.

Happy Holidays at the Hotel Haymon
This was the second hotel that we stayed at during our multi–centre holiday, and we stayed there for 4 nights. We were looking for a traditional–style hotel, close to the train station and with a half board option, so it was an easy decision to pick the Hotel Haymon. Their website does a great job of showcasing the beautiful exterior and interior of the building, along with describing the legend of Haymon the Giant.
The hotel is a short walk from both the train station and the pedestrianised centre of Seefeld. The exterior looked as good as the website photos, with lots of flowers that were blooming in the sunshine. Check–in was friendly and efficient, and we were able to obtain our PlateauCard and purchase a discounted walking map straight away. We had booked a larger ‘Karwendel’ room and had asked for a west facing non–eaves room, so were delighted to be allocated room 52, on the 1st floor in the extension building. The room was an excellent size, with lots of storage, a seating area and a large balcony. The Austrian twin bed was large and comfortable and, despite overlooking a road, we heard very little noise. The automated bathroom lights were a real pain though and there appeared to be no way to turn them off at night, other than turning off all of the electricity to the room. As is often the case in the Alps, there was no air conditioning in the room, but we were able to use the balcony door and window to keep the temperature to a reasonable level. They may wish to consider installing ceiling fans in future though. We would also have welcomed having a fridge in the room.
As we were staying on half board, we had breakfast and dinner in the hotel restaurant and were allocated the same table for the duration of our stay. We very much enjoyed the traditional style of the restaurant and the food at dinner was excellent – 4 courses each night with a choice of main dish and also the option to ask for smaller portions. The service was very quick, and the staff spoke excellent English, which was great, as neither of us speaks much German. We were a little confused by the guest folder information about tap water, which encourages guests to drink the tap water in their room and states that ordering tap water in the restaurant is subject to a charge, but does not specify that guests cannot bring water from their room to dinner. Hopefully the guest folder info can be changed to clarify this. It also was not immediately clear that it was possible to order fried eggs and omelettes at breakfast – a note in the (very informative) Morning Post newsletter could help to clarify this.
We thought that the hotel bar was absolutely lovely – it was great to have a variety of sitting areas. We enjoyed sitting out on the veranda when it was sunny and had fun playing Jenga when it was raining. The garden and roof terrace were great spaces too. We also enjoyed taking advantage of the afternoon cake buffet after our sightseeing each day. The free weekday admission to the Olympiabad swimming pool was a big bonus of staying there too.
Our 4 nights at the Hotel Haymon passed by all too quickly and we were very sad to leave – but I’m sure that we will end up staying there again in future – highly recommended!

Lovely family run hotel
We booked this hotel out of pure luck, last minute for the xmas season and we were so pleased. The food was delicious, room a little dated but with the view we didn’t mind one bit. What a treat this hotel was. Close to the town centre and xmas market and so much to do! The family running it was lovely. The younger gentleman checked us in and was a joy, nothing was too much trouble. We can’t wait to come back one day.

An Amazing Stay at Hotel Haymon
We have just returned from a weeks stay at Hotel Haymon. We had a fabulous week. Seefeld is a lovely village with stunning scenery and so many things to do.
Our choice to stay at Hotel Haymon was 100% the right choice. The hotel is in an ideal location close to the station, the pedestrian area, the lake and all surrounding activities. The hotel itself is charming, very clean throughout (including our room) and comfortable and it had everything we needed for our stay. The Hiltpolt family together with all the staff are extremely helpful, welcoming and friendly. The food was delicious, breakfasts set us up for the day and the 4 course evening meals were a delight. We could not fault it at all. We enjoyed EVERY meal and i would particularly like to say thank you for accommodating me with my dairy intolerance, for the special adjustments that were made for me. We absolutely loved our time in Seefeld and will definitely return to the Haymon. Thank you for a memorable stay.

Wonderful
Just spent a week at the Haymon with my two children and mum. Couldn't fault it. Spotlessly clean, lovely staff, really spacious rooms. Perfect location and having the use of the Olympiad swimming pool was really good. Seefeld is beautiful. Would love to return in the winter season.

Summer in Seefeld
Just back from another excellent stay at the Hotel Haymon in Seefeld , my first time ever visiting Seefeld in the Summer and I loved it!
The wonderful Hiltpolt family who run the hotel were as always very friendly and welcoming, all the hotel staff were really friendly and helpful too.
The whole hotel was kept spotlessly clean and towels were replaced daily.My ground floor room was quiet and peaceful.
The food was excellent with a fantastic choice at the buffet breakfast and the four course dinners were really good with the choice of the main course being taken at breakfast time.Hotel seemed quite happy to provide an alternative to the two main course choices if the main choices were not suitable?
Afternoon cake buffet was delicious.
I have only visited Seefeld previously in the winter for skiing and I loved seeing the hotel and the resort of Seefeld in the summer. Lots of interesting walks, lots of flowers, free music events during the week, I loved my week in Seefeld and the Hotel Haymon!
The location of the hotel being just a couple of minutes from the pedestrian centre and from the railway station is also ideal.
I am already looking forward to my next visit in January.
