Nice garden hotel in the middle of town

This is a delightful garden hotel in the middle of the city yet quiet. Nice though small rooms are available as well as ample parking. Very nice owner. Above all, both the main square and the riverbank can be reached on foot in a few minutes. We slept well there.

Never again Hitel Biedermeierhof Schärding

Despite hotel booking by Austria Radreisen, no room was ready and the hotel door locked at 17.00 on Sunday evening. After several runs, the grandmother opened. After a long back and forth we were allocated a smelly old room. For the missed breakfast we were compensated in cash.
You can tell that the owners are not interested and apparently don't want to work. No modern computer science about the bookings, but the whole thing analogously with notes.
At the reception sits the old grandmother!!
With commitment and renovation, something very beautiful could emerge from the hotel complex. The fanze stopped in the 70s.
The location is central and within walking distance of the center and the pedestrian zone.

Modern and Cosy place

Had a very comfortabel overnight stay at this hotel, which is located not far from the market place. The room in the annex was modern, spacious, very clean and quiet. The annex has steps to reach the rooms. The breakfast buffet had all the goodies one would want in the morning.

Comfortable stay, nice breakfast

We were allocated this hotel as part of a Danube cycle tour. Our room was simply decorated, but very clean and equipped with everything you would expect from a hotel room. The breakfast buffet offered a good spread of savoury and sweet options. The only small gripe was that the duvets provided were way too warm for summer temperatures, which made for a poor night’s sleep. Otherwise a very pleasant experience.

Good service

Nice location in the village of Schärding, where we ended our bicycle trip in Austria. After our stay we accidentally forgot our camera in the room. Luckily the hotel staff was so kind to send it to the Netherlands, for just 10 euros.
