Top location, top quality, warm sincere service and flexibility!

For more than 15 years we come here every March with a group (10 to 15 guys) of ski friends for three nights. Every time it feels like coming home; Irene, Bianca and the whole staff always provide a huge warm welcome! Hugely flexible and cordial. And top quality. Really highly recommended. We keep coming!

Passive aggressive and dishonest staff - uncomfortable experience

I booked a double room for couples but at arrival the host looked up my name (Arabic) and then gave us a small dark room with two separate single beds facing in yard with a tiny bathroom (much cheaper room) which I didn’t book. My Caucasian boyfriend went then to the host who was sitting in the hotel’s restaurant chatting with the rest of the hotel staff. He friendly asked if there has been a mistake since the room that she gave us looked nothing like what we payed for or like the pictures. The host then moved us to the double room that we originally booked. From that moment on multiple occasions had us feeling unwelcome and uncomfortable. For example, we went to the hotel’s restaurant for dinner. After ordering a glass of wine the taller waitress who served us (bleached hair, tattooed eyebrows, end 30s-40s) came back with an almost empty glass. When we looked around, we noticed that the other guests had full glasses of wine. The waitress had also a rude and dismissive attitude and was joking at the bar with the hotel’s restaurant owner. It should be mentioned all of these staff members were hanging out together earlier when my boyfriend kindly asked to change the room to what we have booked. The food which clearly was preheated and overcooked, gave us on top of that bad stomachs. Yet we stayed respectful and tipped the waitress who passive aggressively asked for a tip. At departure on the next morning (early check out at 10) the same waitress saw us leaving and chose to fully ignore our presence. This whole experience left us feeling racially discriminated on my behalf and uncomfortable as a whole. Furthermore, the bathroom wasn’t clean as I found hair on the sink and brown spots on the toilet seat.

Very good address

Discovery of the St Anton ski area for 4 days.
Wonderful stay in this family-friendly hotel located in the pedestrian zone in the center.
Hearty breakfast and fresh produce.
Very friendly owners and staff, extremely friendly and smiling.
Spacious room with balcony, and very pleasant saunas.
Free parking available near the station
Address to remember for next winter, hoping to have better snow, and perhaps this summer for beautiful hiking.
A big thank you to all the Staff for their warm welcome.

Not a bad option but St Anton is a party town

Situated at the bottom end of st anton where the pedestrian road ends. It’s great as you’re on the main walk but beware it’s above a bar - BOBO’s. This is also NOT a quiet end of town. Lots of party people so it’s noisy. If you want a quiet spot this is not for you or request a quiet room. I got a relatively quiet room but I could still hear the party people at all hours. Rooms are clean but quite basic. I got a room for 4 nights - which was great as I could not make 7 nights. Breakfast ok. Coffee ok. The resort did not have snow in the town and it’s quite a rough around the edges ski village. But Hotel Kristall wasn’t bad.
