You simply have to come back!

Stopped here for one night as an opera visitor at the castle in Gars. To anticipate the conclusion: The booking was a positive success! Heidi, the good soul of the house, immediately spread a positive mood and personally familiarized us with the special features of the house. A spacious room, bathroom and toilet separate, beds with the highest sleeping comfort (large duvets!) - what more could you want? In addition, an opulent breakfast buffet with regional delicacies (three types of bread, one more delicious than the other). As a guest, you are completely satisfied - if there were a wish, Heidi would probably have fulfilled it immediately.
The Kamptal railway runs past the house - perhaps an issue for late sleepers and early risers. Between midnight and half past six, the traffic rests and the warning signals will soon be history, because work is being done on the elimination of the unguarded level crossings (reason for the signal tones).
We had no problem with it - trainspotters would also have a good location here.

Nice time out

Very family-run hotel with Heidi as a friendly, good-humoured and engaging One Woman show. Room great with sitting area, and although it went to the main road, it was absolutely quiet. Toilet separate. Breakfast manageable, but it was all there you need for a good start to the day. Parking garage available – but quite narrow driveway. With bigger cars, that can be quite challenging. I cannot give the highest score because of two points: Had – for whatever reason – only one closet bed in our room, which unfortunately was not very cozy. And: the room had a very unpleasant smell. Thought I got a smoking room at first. Heidi told us that was the toilet deodorant. So that should definitely be replaced. Despite the open windows, we didn't get the smell out and couldn't. It was really uncomfortable.

Family hotel well managed

Very friendly host, good quality room, excellent breakfast, very good secure underground parking, all in all a good hotel to stay a night or more.
Unfortunately there is no hot kitchen available, so if you need a good dinner, you need to drive 15-20 minutes to find a proper restaurant.

Einfach toll

Wir waren mit der Unterkunft und der Gastgeberin (Heidi vielen Dank für alles) rund herum zufrieden. Sowohl die Ferienwohnung wie das Doppelzimmer sind zu empfehlen. Frühstück absolut ausreichend und fehlt nichts. Alles sehr sauber. Sehr positiv, dass es die Möglichkeit zum Saunieren gibt - hilft bei kaltem Wetter ;-)
Bei geschlossenem Fenster und Zimmer zum Garten gibt's kein Thema mit der Bahn oder Bundesstraße.

Erneut wunderbar!

Hier ist auch "nach" Corona alles wie es war, kann meine erste Bewertung nur wiederholen. Heidi, schön das Ihr wieder da seid und die drei Tage so toll waren, wie 2019, mach weiter so!
