Simply superb
This hotel is large, impressive, chic and classy. The spa is one of the most beautiful I have ever seen. The recent redecoration has been very tastefully done, colors, materials en design reflect major dedication and excellent taste.
But better than this all is the superb, warm
and friendly, yet highly professional presence of the Höfer family and their staff. This family clearly runs their hotel with love and passion, and this is why arriving at the Milderer Hof always feels like coming home.
The restaurant is superb. The menus are designed, prepared and executed flawlessly every day. The dining environment (particularly the “marble room”) is stellar, and so is the table preparation. Buffets always offer an abundant choice of dishes, yet all prepared with perfect ingredients, with excellent care and great eye for detail. And if even if despite the massive choice you still want something different, the staff is always happy to think along and help you out, with a smile.
They say that “there is no place like home”, well, that’s clearly wrong. There is no place like the Milderer Hof!

Terrible experience for families: hotel not recommended for those with small children.
7-night stay during Ferragosto (from Sunday to Sunday). Despite the 4-star superior rating, the experience was a nightmare due to a reception that was completely inadequate for those traveling with small children.
On Thursday evening, we were informed that our one-and-a-half-year-old son was not welcome in the dining room for reasons of "DECORUM," just because he had dropped a little food on the floor the night before (without causing any damage or disturbance to anyone). As a result, the child was forced to eat in the room and we parents were forced to dine separately on the following evenings.
As if that were not enough, the staff complained about a bad smell in the room due to the fact that the little one had been sick. Furthermore, they charged us 125€ in advance for some yogurt stains left by the child on a room rug, without even letting us verify the amount or the laundry invoice (a service that in a 4-star S should be included).
These are small, completely normal mishaps when traveling with a one-and-a-half-year-old child. At this point, the management should clearly declare itself an "Adults Only" property and not accept children under a certain age, or downgrade its stars.

vi ringraziamo per il vostro feedback. Ci dispiace che il vostro soggiorno non sia stato all'altezza delle aspettative che riponiamo nei confronti dei nostri ospiti.
Vorremmo tuttavia chiarire alcuni punti: il Milderer Hof è un hotel a misura di famiglia e naturalmente anche i bambini piccoli sono i benvenuti. In nessun momento abbiamo pensato di escludere vostro figlio dal ristorante. Vi abbiamo semplicemente chiesto gentilmente di fare attenzione a non far cadere ripetutamente grandi quantità di cibo a terra durante il pasto, perché il nostro personale di sala ha dovuto pulire l'area per un lungo periodo, causando disagio anche ad altri ospiti.
Purtroppo, per quanto riguarda la pulizia della camera, non si è trattato solo di qualche piccola macchia di yogurt. La moquette era macchiata di vernice su un'ampia superficie e ha dovuto essere sottoposta a una pulizia professionale. I 125 € addebitati si riferiscono esclusivamente a questa pulizia straordinaria necessaria.
Comprendiamo che con un bambino piccolo non sempre sia possibile pianificare tutto. Allo stesso tempo, auspichiamo un reciproco rispetto affinché tutte le famiglie e gli altri ospiti possano sentirsi ugualmente a proprio agio presso di noi.

Excellent service from start to finish
An excellent family run hotel, from the moment you arrive you appreciate that the staff are interested and keen to make you welcome and to provide a first rate service. At the end of your stay you know that they have delivered an excellent service.

Wonderful friendly hotel.
This was our second visit and the experience didn’t disappoint. The hotel is very comfortable with friendly professional staff. The room this time was Morgangold and was large and extremely well appointed. The views from the balcony were glorious. The food is excellent and plentiful and we made use of the swimming pool after our walks. All in all it was a wonderful holiday.

I will be back
All areas in the hotel are perfect. Very friendly service, reception very helpful with the e-bike and the food, as well as the very delicious cakes in the afternoon.
