Holidays as holidays should be!
I am shocked by the previous reviews I read...
Our experiences are so different!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Aparthotel Amontanara. The hotel has recently had new owners and that has clearly brought a fresh, positive look. The personal attention and friendly service made our holiday extra pleasant.
The apartments are stylishly furnished, comfortable and spotless. You immediately notice that a lot of care is taken to maintain and experience the guests. Everything felt cared for and relaxed, exactly what you are looking for while staying in the mountains.
The location is also perfect: a day in Italy, Switzerland or nice Austria is all possible. It is quietly located, with beautiful views and an ideal base for skiing, hiking and other activities in the area. After an active day it was wonderful to come home to such a nice accommodation.
What sticks with us most is the warm and genuine atmosphere. The owners do everything to give their guests an unforgettable time. Aparthotel Amontanara is an absolute must for anyone who values comfort, hospitality and a beautiful environment.

Our stay at Aparthotel Amontanara was truly fantastic! Since the summer of 2025 there are new owners and you can see that in everything. The hospitality is unprecedented: from the first moment you feel welcome and everything is done to make your stay perfect.
The apartments are modern, spacious and above all incredibly clean. Everything is maintained to perfection and that immediately gives a luxurious and relaxed feeling. The atmosphere in the hotel is also warm and personal, making you feel really at home in the beautiful Austrian mountain landscape.
The location is ideal for both winter sports and summer walks, but it is mainly the new owners who make this aparthotel really special. Their enthusiasm, kindness and attention to detail make you want to come back here.
We can absolutely recommend Aparthotel Amontanara to anyone looking for a clean, atmospheric and welcoming stay in Austria!

Really had a super experience!
The new owners have added a great new fresh atmosphere to the hotel. A family that knows what people need and meets all expectations!
The bus to go to the slopes is just a stone’s throw away, the bread rolls that are freshly baked every day are delicious, the heat room for the skis is spacious and neat: everything is super!
The rooms are very neat and clean and also the sauna after a day of intensive skiing is lovely to relax. In the evenings we played games in the common room, while enjoying a nice drink from their "Honesty bar" (top concept!).
All in all a very nice hotel, in a super good location and a welcoming atmosphere. I will definitely be back here with both my friends and my family!

Amazing vacation!
We loved it at first sight. The kitchen is very very nice, big and very well equipped. The whole apartment was clean and nice. We had two bathrooms and both of them were good size. I definitely recommend this for a vacation in Nauders.

Nonexistant hospitality and generally uncooperative attitudes
We stayed here with a large group and so practically the whole building except was reserved for us, except for one room that was occupied by other guests.
The building is in a very nice shape, clearly recently renovated and all in all very nice rooms and everything, including the wonderful Finnisches Sauna in the basement.
However, the general attitude of the hosts was hostile from very early on. I understand we might not have been the most quiet group there is, but the problem was mainly the fact that no warnings whatsoever were given, but the owners instead went full rage when there were some issues. For example we naturally used the sauna quite much (Finnish as we are) and the floors were wet due to that fact. We were banned from using the sauna for a couple of days for that reason, no warnings beforehand.
All in all, I understand the owners love their beautiful, recently renovated house, but it is no excuse for being incredibly overprotective about it. We acted very reasonably and would have loved to talk when there were issues, but the owners rather make big issues out of small things and are uncooperative when trying to solve those. Please take a customer service class or something...
