My favorite authentic Austrian 'Gasthaus'

This is my family owned and run 'Gasthaus' is one of my favorites when I am in the area in Upper Austria. The food is very typical Austrian fare, the price is very reasonable, the service very friendly and most importantly, the food is delicious! There is a typical "Gasthausstube" but also a comfortable and pleasant modern room. Recommended anything on their menu - do not forget to try their wonderful Schokoladerouladen - if you are too full after the meal, why not take some along for later ;-)

Bussiness visit to Mattifhogen

Had been to Mattighofen for Business visit.
Stayed in this hotel for 2 weeks.
My reviews,
*Owner : 5/5 (very friendly)
*Hotel Room : 5/5 (Very nice , Clean , Spacious , All equipments maintained & perfectly fine, good water quality)
*Nearby : Munderfing Damsafsage Railway station , Spar Supermarket.
*Food : Good fresh breakfast spread ( Didnt try lunch & dinner).
*Free Wifi with good speed.
Overall an awesome homely stay.
Definitely recomended.

It is about an hour drive from Salzburg. Good location to stay in Munderfing. Facilities are good and gives a homely feel. Food quality is very good. The staff is very accommodative. Tariffs are nominal hence very economical. Very good if you are on a business tour. Breakfast is good quality

Very traditional hotel run by the family

Very warm and comfortable hotel with excellent restaurant. Hotel is very traditional but rooms are very spacious and clean. There is free wifi in the room. Rooms are equipped with all necessary amenities. Staff is very friendly. Big plus for excellent restaurant with local food and drinks. The best thing is that you can arrive late in the evening and the keys will be waiting for you outside in the box, you can enter empty restaurant, serve yourself with the drinks not waking anybody and just explain everything you took to the owner next day morning

Buona posizione, buon ristorante

Vicino a Mattighofen, a poco dalla zona industriale. Il ristorante offre sempre buone proposte, ho sempre apprezzato. Forse la colazione andrebbe un po' arricchita.
Buona la Gestione famigliare. Ampio parcheggio.
