Beautiful hotel, quite and new

I stayed at the Vital Hotel (not Apartments) and the Lake Suite. Hotel design is beautiful and modern, everything is new, and the Lake Suite was also new, clean, spacious and very elegant. We had a lovely big terrace and view over the lake.
The hotel is very quiet, you hardly see any other guests, which is a big plus.
Reception desk was very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast buffet quality, quantity and selection are unfortunately poor and frankly disappointing. The breakfast room looks like in a convention center or a plain conference style hotel.
There is a beautiful bar and outdoors seating area, but it's never open and no one is there, that's such a shame not to use this space.
It's quite a steep walk down to the lake, but in the end of the walk down there is an elevator to get you down to the dock and lake. It's manageable (we have a 3 1/2 y old) but maybe difficult with more kids, a stroller, or more stuff to carry down.
The area with sun beds by the lake is gorgeous, and you have access to a cute restaurant right by the water.
This side of the lake doesn't have any town too close, not in walking distance anyhow. So stores are a bit further. It's a quiet side of the lake. You will need to drive everywhere. They do have a fantastic fine-dining restaurant on the premises and the bistro style restaurant by the lake.
You can rent paddle boards (they charge you). I wish you could grab one and paddle without the charge, honestly this should be included in the hotel stay (as at other hotels!). Overall a nice experience!

Top on the outside - flop on the inside, because there is no consistent concept.

Beautiful location, architecture appealing from the outside.
Friendly reception, sobering room, unrecognizable style, esoteric elements are supposed to explain the concept of the hotel, but make no sense in the overall context.
Breakfast buffet quality, quantity and selection are inadequate. Beautiful bar available, but never open. Will not come back under these circumstances. Recommendation: Expand professional and management skills in relation to the hotel business.

Top newly designed hotel.

The staff is MEGA friendly. The breakfast buffet in the beautiful, new, sun-drenched restaurant is rich in vitamins and beautifully designed. All in all, a feel-good stay.
We enjoyed absolute peace and quiet. The walks in the forest are inviting. A walking path leads directly from the hotel through the forest up to the Pyramidenkogel where you can enjoy an unforgettable view of the lake.
We will definitely come back.

All in all, there is clearly room for improvement

We only booked the Hermitage Vital Hotel as a stopover on our journey home from Italy and Slovenia and did not have great expectations, except that it is located on Lake Wörthersee and has access to the lake. The impression of the hotel is ambivalent. The focus is on the top restaurant in the area (supposedly the best in Carinthia) and the luxury apartments. The hotel seems like an unfinished appendage. The original old hotel has been rebuilt and expanded and appears modern at first glance, but the rooms look like they are from earlier times. Outdated ceiling lamps and scratched floors (the hotel only opened in July 2023!) as well as outdated cupboards could be considered deliberate stylistic elements, but they were probably taken from the old building to save money. The interior in the lobby and bar also seemed like something from Ikea. It was strange that we were almost the only guests in the hotel and that the hotel bar was therefore closed on the first day without us being informed of this at reception. All in all, there is clearly room for improvement.
